MNK endgame gear?

Lol you people don't understand what i'm saying, what i'm saying is that i dont see a point in getting gear until 2.0 and beyond , any gear that you get now is going to get outdated m and so what if you think that my way of playing is the worst i play my own way you don't like it too bad by all means come and comment on how bad my play style is you're just making me lol more with each one of your comments and looks like i hit a little nerve with my last comment if i did that proves my point that you did get carried at one point in your gaming life.

Velhart , reread my comment and stop seeing it as an insult and try to make sense of it , my message is in just half the message the top half right up to 2.0? , the bottom half is just filler because its a fact that everyone at their gaming life got carried by someone else to not acknowledge that is ignorant , its not like you started a character on here with all garuda, moogle and ifrit weapons and full darklight.

If you don't want gear because it's just going to be outdated, why play? I mean let's face it, while we all enjoy the company of friends and the atmosphere of the game, at the end of the day we're here for gear. The game makes that the over-arching goal and we buy into it. If you're not sold on that, then quit. In the meantime don't random for anything. Wouldn't want stuff to to go to waste.

i'm not giving false info , i'm saying that stats are important but they dont work 100% as intended , ppl should play however they feel like playing and its up to them if they want to improve or not. That's my main message.

I play on free time and free time i have i put into getting everything to 50 so i dont really care much for gear , i would if i had more free time and could spend hours farming a dungeon or primal fights, everyone has their own play styles and well not everyone is here for gear, i know a few ppl that all they do is craft cause they have no interest in the combat aspect of the game yet, until SE gets everything fixed up i pretty much share the same mindset , all i do is craft and caravan and the ocassional moogle but thats it.

If you want to go the GC route for gear, a Lieutenant weapon with 5 piece bonus is a nice option. If you have to give up a str ring for a gc attack ring, the attack power added should more than make up for any lost str.

Okay, then why are you playing MMO's? Why does the fact the game is jumping to a new version deter you from getting the best gear right now? You are going to go through the few month spiral of good gear and outdated gear constantly even past 2.0. Your logic says you need to be playing something that isn't gear required like a Facebook social game. Don't deinfluence people to not get the best gear in the game because you are lazy and content with being a burden to other party members.
