Yep, then you see the most epic train of your life:
7 Vault Weapons, 4 Chamber Beetles, endless amounts of bats, 7 skeletons, 4 bombs and a random flesh.
Sorry to say but you're not setting foot into GC as even a 75 anytime soon.

oh boy, trains were awesome. it made everyone connect more. if one party fucked up it'd affect the other, and people would shout if there was an incoming train

OK...if by "fake" you don't mean "different from what's real", what do you mean?

Fake as in uncreative, generic, computerized, like they just copy+paste+paste+paste+past, move to next spot, copy+paste+paste+paste, rather than showing some creativity and spreading things out to give the illusion that these creatures are alive, do their own thing, and wonder off far. Territory doesnt help.

Please... please tell me this is sarcasm. My intuition says it is, but it's been wrong before.Hopefully mobs don't even aggro in 2.0 I don't want to be penalized for things like being stupid or oblivious to my surroundings. My friends and I might have to actually rally to overcome the situation. If i'm on a quest I don't want something like an enemy to be able to stop me. That's just a giant waste of time. I mean... I might fail the quest... and where's the fun in that?
I'd say bring back invis/sneak items, make it necessary to use them against certain mobs in certain areas. It was always fun in FFXI having quests that required you to go through higher level mobs where you had to successfully sneak or invis to survive. have some spots that are "safe spots" to get to in case the sneak/invis is wearing off so you can re-apply.
That would open up more possibilties for quests, dungeons, etc.
As for mobs chasing, I think they should definitely chase you a lot longer than they do now, by at least twice the distance. I do agree that only certain ones should have ranged attacks. I'm glad they reduced the number of mobs with them, but I think it's still a bit much in some cases. I die from a mob that wasn't even on-screen yet when I rode past it, yet it hits me with a ranged attack. What's worse is that their range is far greater than mine is with a ranged weapon, I don't think that should be the case.

theres already mobs that aggro to sound. if you walk they dont attack you.Please... please tell me this is sarcasm. My intuition says it is, but it's been wrong before.

there just isn't a sneak spell...
there's also invisible. DOL gets it.
really bad implementation imo. hope we see it return in the shape it had in ffxi
It is sarcasm, as idiotic and anti-social as MMO gamers have become in recent generations, no one is that idiotic they'd want no danger in a game.....
.....
.....
Ok, people can be that idiotic but I'm pretty sure he was just sarcastic xD

OK, that makes sense. I haven't really thought that way myself, but I'm not exactly married to the current system, either.Fake as in uncreative, generic, computerized, like they just copy+paste+paste+paste+past, move to next spot, copy+paste+paste+paste, rather than showing some creativity and spreading things out to give the illusion that these creatures are alive, do their own thing, and wonder off far. Maybe 2.0 will strike a better balance, with some mobs in some areas herding, and some striking out on their own. Personally, I'd like to see the occasional mob attacking another mob.

I've seen people make serious arguments that full-scale raid bosses should be soloable because forcing them to group up to kill them is unfair.
After that, I'd believe there are people who are serious about pretty much anything.
