Most of our LS BLM sit at around 360-370 INT without food, many of us over 380.
I am sorry, I find that hard to believe, I rock 377 INT and I know Burst has some damn good damage outputs. If you can execute a Convert>Excruciate>Burst you will see some nice spike damage, even w/o the crit. I play BLM a ton, and I know Burst may have a long recast, but It doesn't need to be changed..
If you wanna cast Burst every min, go solo some leves..
Even with 500+ Magic Attack as well as 460~ Magic Accuracy with Convert and Combo'd Burst. The damage is laughable. If your damage is so amazing, and you believe it benefits the fifteen minute timer imposed on it, by all means post it.
BLM needs manafont back.Burst should have never ended up as a 15 min skill.
WHM gets a free full cure every 15 min, BLM should get a free Combo nuke every 15 min!
Make burst like Flare, make a non-combo skill out of it, that adds paralyze or stun with high success rate, and add Manafont!
Synyster. I believe you are the only person that believes Burst is a good ability in comparison to the other Fifteen Minute abilities. The rest of the forum want change.I am sorry, I find that hard to believe, I rock 377 INT and I know Burst has some damn good damage outputs. As someone aforementioned making a space for an ability would help, an ability which lowered enmity on casting for 20 seconds, or increased damage of spells for 20 seconds, offered free costing casts. These would be more beneficial than a "Damage Spike" which is hardly a damage spike at all.
SynysterBlitz, stop acting like you are godsend with no equal in your blm skills. It is a very easy job to play and a very easy job to gear up. You can argue that Burst is strong all you want but the fact of the matter is that its a cheaper Thundaga that requires a lot more work to use.I am sorry, I find that hard to believe, I rock 377 INT and I know Burst has some damn good damage outputs. I once thought it needed to be addressed, but I think that was premature thinking. It was most likely designed to be used with Convert and it is most effective when doing so. A very low HP Burst should be out damaging Thundaga. If it doesn't then something is wrong.
Hundred Fists isn't very useful, Mighty Strikes is basically just a one time Steel Cyclone upgrade, Dragonfire Dive is pathetic, Hallowed Ground is decent but still being able to get hit by ranged physical attacks is dumb. Burst is probably better than all of these.
Benediction is useful in most circumstances if your party is grouped and Battle Voice is the only 15 minute that is just plain awesome.
i think burst damage is good, at very low (10-50) hp it does the same damage as an aga. I do think it can be improved though,
i dont think it should have to combo to get the low hp bonus
they should add a dot or debuff to it so that it isnt identical to thundaga.
Really now? Come on people. The last thing BLM needs is a buff of any kind.
Lol, a lot more work, rework your bars and macros then, cause I can execute it damn good, and yes I am godsend, thank you.SynysterBlitz, stop acting like you are godsend with no equal in your blm skills.
