I don't get why anyone would want them to redo the whole thing from the ground up xD

because if they did do sweeping changes a lot of you would feel that the class you enjoyed maining is not the same class anymore. Here is an example of changes square made for the better that people got upset over very recent; BLM faster for faster fights and people were butt hurt that the timers were gone even though that made the class a bit better and the class still has a high skill ceiling and requires still that you remain stationary to do the best dmg, basically what a black mage is and peps say they simplified it you still have to be aware of the fight or you will die, the numbers are still high, you still have to be strategic with your limited mobility.

The only real route for square is to make the combat more responsive make it feel better and try to lessen the server ticks.... (make it similar to the mobile game I guess)
maybe make the older content have more of the Kit so it is not boring.

peps asking for sweeping change today if they got it will be crying for the good old days when they get the changes they were asking for.

On the other side I would argue that the team being as bad as they are with balancing should just step away from it. They did such a poor job with SMN and MCH in the name of balance, SMN before could tank fights why did they get rid of that? stop balancing and make the classes fun
people like being able to break the rules, MCH is a selfish dps but before recent it was the LOWEST on the charts something a selfish dps should never be... why box yourselves into selfish or support?
