Red Onion Helm - Does it even exist?

I've been running quick ventures for a while across 10 retainers. Maybe like 60-100k of them total. I've never seen the Red Onion Helm.

Does anyone know if it's even still in the quick venture loot table?


Edit: One source indicates the rarity is roughly 1 in 40,000 so I guess I just need to try harder

It does still it just is indeed a very.... very..... very rare drop from Quick Explorations just sucks cause the loot table for it is just so high now that it is even harder to get along with the other couple of pieces of gear exclusive to Quick Explorations....

I got it from a quick venture about a year ago. The rare items are just really really rare.

I've had a couple brought back by my retainers over the years but alas the drop rate is indeed very low (but still better than the Peregrine Helm, which is almost mythical in it's drop rate possibility).

Never knew about this Peregrine Helm, came here looking for info on the red onion helm and now I need to know if this other peregrine onion helm is still obtainable!

It turns out Peregrine Helm is what I was actually thinking of when making the thread, as it can be stored in the armoire.

The crowdsourced database has zero occurrences of peregrine helm among 8-11M ventures, so it's safe to say it's probably not in the drop table anymore

I don’t think either of those are tradeable are they? If I ever get one, I’d probably give it away as it’s not something I really want, but I don’t think that’s an option. Something this rare should be tradeable for a few million gil! lol

Red onion is sellable on the MB and is surprisingly cheap for how rare it is. Peregrine is untradeable, but given how rare it is, collectors like me would probably pay at least 50 mil.
