Yoshi P understands that they cannot possibly do everything the players want as far as glamours go and his compromise was to turn a blind eye to mods so long as modders were reasonable and didn't behave irresponsibly. I called it "The first rule of fight club is don't talk about fightclub" agreement because he was willing to let players use them so long as they didn't do so in a way that forced him to follow through on the game's policies in an official capacity.

Well... guess what people did with the aforemented mod that was banished to the shadowrealm? this entire situation is the consequences of their own actions, but somehow they've deluded themselves into believing that it is somehow Square Enix's fault.
