Concerns About Political Neutrality in the Development Team.

I believe it is very important that the development team behind FFXIV remains politically neutral. While everyone is entitled to their personal opinions outside of work, I feel that employees who are outspoken political activists can cause unnecessary tension within the community and raise doubts about whether personal agendas might influence the game’s story or presentation.

FFXIV has always been a place where people from all kinds of backgrounds can come together and enjoy the game without real-world politics being pushed onto them. I hope Square Enix continues to prioritize hiring and promoting staff who can separate personal activism from professional responsibilities, so the game can remain a welcoming environment for all players.

That said, political influences make it into creative works. I think Star Trek abolished money or something like that. Just need to remember that it's fiction and to not take it seriously.

I'm guessing people just existing and being different from you is the problem as it always is with people who whine about politics in video games, and if that's the case - go play something else, and go be miserable somewhere else.

Dawntrail ended like it did because it avoided any political subject. You guys seem to not see that because you're blinded by the whole Sena Brier thing, but you remember every other version has WL voiced by a woman, and remove that, there is nothing political left in DT. They avoided any statement to the point it was consensually boring.
