I feel that one major feature that the spawns of PLing miss is the Decapitation stuff. With that, they tend to not know how to get drops from NMs efficiently. And with that, they are stuck with the low level gear they had when they started but with high level classes.

Then again, all of this just requires some googling. They just need to be made aware of it.

In any case, if you get PL'd, you have to expect to be dirt poor, especially with all of the different forms of currency currently in-game. So as long as I don't see any complaints about so-called "inflation", I have nothing to complain about.

PLing all your classes and to 50 is step number one to QUICKLY learning your job. being able to cross class abilities and also do the same on jobs kinda changes how you play a job. Knowing everything available to you and learning how each job or class effect each ability and then fine tunning everything you can use in a way that best uses all the abilities available to you is step number two. after that, you simply apply , test and determain wich jobs are best suited for wich situations. Soo in that sense PLing is actually the fastest way to become an expert in your perfered job/class. without unlocking all the abilities its a much slower process.

That being said, I do agree PLs must go. Not because noobs suck or anything stupid like that , but because the life span of the game itself is truly threatened by the retarded fast speed in wich somone can reach lvl 50, 1-50 in 3 days max, yeah, thats a bit fast lols.

hmmm as a current player of bot FFXI and FFXIV you technically cant be PLed in XI yes SE made it easier to lvl through the use of Fields and Grounds of Valor but more particularly Abyssea (which yes being a keyer can be cosidered PL) However XI makes it such that once a mob is claimed no one else can attack it. Now then that being said XIV is different unless doing leves you can be flat out pled from lvls 1-40 maybe as high as 45 idk im only 30 and yes I got PLed BUT as I was getting PLed my friend forced me to fight things myself to learn my abilities and gave tips and taught me how to play Im still new and I do need to learn alot more but at least Im not under skilled (like I would be in XI but I been playing that since NA release so ya)

I'm hoping you DON'T, though.
40-50 is that one last stretch you have, that the best option is to PT.
And doing 40-50 in a party environment will help you master your job more than 1-40 ever could because of the amount of abilities 40-50 has.
And it's in your best interest to learn your stuff there before going into endgame.

Also, (not assuming this guy got PL'd but. lol i wouldn't doubt it). This may happen to you out of the sheer inexperience with your job.

I think you can get PLed post 40. I think it'd be in spiritbonding parties, or when linkshells used to take their 40s to the wolf camp in Natalan. Not sure about now a days but just a hunce.

Usually if someone can play, he can play either way, and if someone can't play, he can't play no matter what. I have never seen anyone who sucked at a job that could get better by spending more time EXPing on it.
