The Magistra Empire, formerly known as the House of Sakamoto, is an alliance of individuals recruited for the sake, well-bring, and independency of Eorzea against the Garlean Empire. United under the supreme ruler Emperor Nanase Sakamoto and his Empress, the recruits of the magistra focus strongly on the task at hand as the day to determine the worth of Eorzea's knights grows ever nigh.

Ah, but how quickly it comes. That day. The day when all challengers will be forfeited to their destinies on the battlefield. Will you stand to fight against this impending winter? Stand to fight against this Garlean overthrow and destruction of this beloved nation that our fathers have given their lives to build? The Magistra will. They will seek to fight when others bow down in defeat. They boast to stand where no other foul beast trod. And why do they do it?

For love. For the love that clouds the pain of their threatened nation. For the love of their fellow mate. For the knowledge that tomorrow they will wake to smile again, and look out into a world that they can call their own. For peace. For prosperity. Happiness. And security.

That is why the Magistra exists. They exist to fight against those who oppose the happiness and well-beings of others. They stand for justice, truth, and morality.

Then will you not fight by our side and defend those you love as well? Or will you sit idly in your chambers and dream of better days? Your choice. But with or without you, this holy gathering of blessed warriors will not fall and let our loved ones be succumb to evil tidings. We will fight strongly until Twelve doth sail our boats into the harbors of our end.

I joined this LS when I first started on the server, Nanase Sakamoto and Whispering Wind took me in with open arms and I begun my adventure on Balmung. ^^ It has a very friendly and helpfull community, and I love everyone who is in it, there is always someone who will step up and help out if someone in the family needs a helping hand. Of course I always help back whenever I can, because that is what we do in this family~

I am Arturia Saber of the Balmung Server.

Some time ago, about two months, I began my journey as a GLD on FFXIV. I essentially knew nothing about the game. I had never played XI and had very little experience with mmo's in general.

About four days into my mmo addiction to FFXIV, I was approached by Nanase Sakamoto who politely greeted me and told me of his role playing link shell that endeavored to help others achieve their goals in this land called Eorzea.

Being an avid and experienced role player, I joined, attempting to form some sort of social connection with the people of this world with whom I shared similar interests. Little did I know that this group... this slew of companions... would become some of my very best friends. I love them. They are like a family to me. They make me smile and laugh for real each day, and that is something that is very special. We are not just "another link shell." The Magistra, is a family. I have had several linkshells offered to me over the past few weeks, but why would I ever want to join any other linkshell than my own? This isn't just a link shell to help you get all of your jobs set or help you get that one item, this is a COMMUNITY with people who care for each other. That is what The Magistra, also known as The House of Sakamoto, has that every other link shell fails in comparison to.

Though we have developed rules over the past few weeks that some have deemed as a bit controlling, I believe it is necessary. Because we ARE a community, we require rules to keep us in check. We care for our members. We want them to grow, build relationships, and work together, which is why we encourage that all of our link shell members only participate in our shell 95% of the time. We don't want people who just want to pop in and out to "get their stuff done." We want real, breathing, living people who want friends, who want to role play, work together, and have a good time.

I am glad that I have found people who I love and care for this much.

I am glad that I am a part of something so very, very special.

Finally decided to check out the Server forum. Glad to see us well represented here.

I joined Magistra Empire during a roleplay event in Limsa Lominsa, when I was like 2-days returned to the game after 1.21. I had never roleplayed before, but I figured what the heck and chatted a bit with Nana. Ended up with a new pearl and am very happy for that chance meeting!

Most MMOs I miss out on that community feeling, but that isn't the case here. Sometimes I just idle around town chatting with all my friends in the LS! It's great to be a part of this family, thank you Nana.

Today, I regretably announce that we will not affiliate with Intermission, nor RPC. We do not appreciate the slander that you all feed to our most loyaled member in hope of copying our Monarchy system to make you success. Sorry, we have been successful without RPC nor Intermission as a whole, and we will continue of doing so with our alliance. Thank you. That meeting definitely open my eyes up about your petty little inner circle.
