Oddly MCH was above water last tier until the 90th percentile due to how they work as a selfish DPS

This is the eternal problem in FF14.

Regular players using their buffs randomly think the meta applies to them. Even in HW and SB that was the case. MCH is much stronger for most groups than BRD or DNC because most groups do not coordinate buffs well, even in EW when it's braindead to do so.
