It basically has been from the beginning when the strike didn't start on early access but official release, when people wanted to join the strike, except when they were healing for their FC, static or leveling other healing jobs. When the live letter before DT release came and nobody was flooding the chat with the #healerstrike.

This never was a strike because nobody wanted to commit to it.

It’s a good thing not to answer your enemies. I scarcely ever do. Perhaps Emily is more like me than I am like myself. Perhaps she would rather not answer her friends, even. She keeps it all in her heart.

This thread did what it needed to do: which was get media attention because the dev team wanted to ignore these issues for years hoping it would go away. Plenty of people have brought up not only the Strike when it first happened but even after the hype died down still made a few videos afterwards.

And its not like it hasn't made an impact. A lot of veteran healers have left - either to go back to WoW, to quit the game entirely, or to pick up a class from the other roles that they enjoyed more and said screw the healing role. Those that would queue for DF for randoms have stopped and only do so for friends/static. Those who would help with PF clears, the same.

People have stopped playing healer and it was noticable enough to get attention. Just not enough for the dev team to make a comment on it. Big whoop, nothing new.

For my part I haven't even cleared 7.0 (on this character) because I need to level a class I'd like to play to finish the final trial cause I can't do it with trusts. I've played AST maybe twice in PvP since DT dropped and the only reason I'm considering to drop my own personal vow is to heal Chaotic and see if its worth it (it probably isn't).

At no point was it agreed upon we'd wall queues across the board and flood the live letter with #HEALERSTRIKE (it was strongly DIScouraged actually) to be a disruptive force. This was basically a peaceful protest where people could commit however much they wanted to not unlike a donation.

I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

The way people in this thread are still lying to themselves. There was zero media attention that would make any dev go "huh, maybe we should change something".
