True whqt is funny is that cycle almost always plays out the same. Selfish classes are not on the level of the supports. Selfish classes get buffed but some other classes get buffed which still keeps the supports ahead.

If they did, you could say that and I'd acknowledge it. Because that's how mature people act. Unlike those who get all in a huff because someone points out their little echo chamber is not necessarily representative of reality, even moreso when there is plentiful data to the contrary. Thanks for playingSquare enix can and does make mistakes and acting like they always do the right thing because they have more data (that they refuse to show us btw) is just so flawed and can basically be used to quash literally anything. If square came out tomorrow with a change you didn’t like I could just say “lol data, square knows more than you kick rocks”. May as well just delete feedback now since square knows so much![]()

What data? The only data we have is the rivers of green on multiple servers for PF. The savage tier is undertuned af that m4s was cleared without BiS gear in just 2 weeks and content design hasn't changed to warrant the overbloated number of tools healers have at their disposal. If they did, you could say that and I'd acknowledge it. The reality is that healers play like dogshit because there isn't a healer designer on the team so they can't design content with them in mind.

It's precisely BECAUSE selfish jobs are buffed that support jobs keep pulling ahead.
If VPR gets massively buffed, support jobs like BRD and DNC will also be indirectly buffed as they'll reap the benefits through rDPS. If the intention is to keep rough parity between support jobs and selfish jobs so they average around roughly the same rDPS, then they'll have to nerf the personal output of the support jobs, which would be miserable for them.

The sugarplum fairies dancing in your head telling you that everyone that doesn’t directly come out and say something in opposition to your point inherently agrees with you is not dataIf they did, you could say that and I'd acknowledge it. Not to mention your entire point on the last reply was that we don’t have the data because apparently square has it all so why do you know this data
Logical consistently is hard apparently
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

It already is kinda miserable. We do basically the same damage as the tanks. It's precisely BECAUSE selfish jobs are buffed that support jobs keep pulling ahead.

Soloing content on an AST isn't exactly what I would call fun, I believe at least one person managed to get the Necromancer title on an AST, however I think most people would leave that for the last job on their list

The enormous size of Earthly Star since EW sure doesn't help it either.
I really wish they'd cut down on their obsession with adjusting everything around their high-end raids. It feels like they just don't care how much it detracts from every other part of the game.

They basically created the problem and then made a solution to the problem they created.
They increased boss hitbox size massively, then they increased arena size massively because that made the arena smaller in comparison to the boss, which then made the ground field abilities smaller in comparison, so then they increase the size of those too. All that when they could've just....not increased boss hitbox size to that level in the first place.

but but... arent bigger bosses meaning more fun???They basically created the problem and then made a solution to the problem they created.

more health means more massive bosses!!! have to be to stuff all the extra health into.... right?
