So as we can clearly see here by this giant post this guy typed out, and the many other posts in this thread, the criticisms of this VA are definitely just 100% about her job done as a voice actor and totally have nothing to do with her being trans.

To touch on the second part of your question about gender restrictions, first and foremost, I think there should be freedom in your values when it comes to the different genders. We don’t want to restrict attire and clothing that you wear based on characters’ gender or sex.

Let me give an example: I was heading to the office on a Saturday and I saw a situation that made me very sad. I was trying to go into the office and I was waiting at a red light. I saw a high schooler coming from the other side of the road in their school uniform. It seemed that they were biologically male at birth but they were wearing a sailor fuku, which is traditionally female attire. In Japanese high schools, there’s more and more schools that are accommodating for freedom of not being restricted to a specific gender for your uniform...That person probably wanted to present the gender they identified with in their heart...On the other side of the road was a mother and a daughter. The daughter was perhaps 5 years old. As soon as the mother saw the high schooler, she shielded her daughter as if she didn’t want her daughter to see. The high schooler must have been very hurt. Situations like these still happen and there’s areas where there’s not as much understanding.

That being said, we want to address this, and I think it will be gradual...For instance, for the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding, we’ve already started to make adjustments. Once we officially release this, you won’t have gender restrictions. If you both wanted to wear a dress, that’s perfectly fine. If you want to both wear the tuxedo, that would also be fine...That’s not available in game yet, but we have done the preparations for it.

The fact that you took what a japanese man said, someone living a completely different culture that views gender matters in a completely different light than the west, and you decided to slap a cheap western slogan while throwing names it's just incredibly funny to me.

Ok, time for a bit of "history".

In my country gay couple can officialy and legally marry. They have the exact same rights and advantage as an hetero couple. And this since the 17/05/2013 (more than 10 years). At that time people gave them genuine support and an overwhelming majority was ok with this.... The only voice that was completly against was the extremist of what is left of the catholic community : a very small minority.
This law also made the adoption of kid possible for gay couple.

But now, this same silent majority is treated like thash, insulted, labelled as racist, homophobe, violent sexist pig by the people they fully supported.
And this just for voicing some critics, for not fully agreeing with thoses community.

By doing that, thoses minority just ignited a time bomb, and right now you have not much time left to choose the right wire and defuse it before it blow up at your face.
And especially in my country. Our history showed many time that, when the silence mass is fed up, she rise and become very loud.

Now i will give you an exemple of what happen when your crossing the red line for good :
In my country catholic was a very powerfull majority for more than a millennium. They pretty much rulled it.
Until a bit more than 100 years ago when separation of the state and the church was proclamed.
At time passed, they became a minority... But still a loud one, that government was still listenning... until 10 years ago, with the last nail in the coffin being 3 years ago.
Now they are not only igored but, also, just completly dismissed. And when they start to be a little too much insistent they get a : "shut up, you are in no possition to lecture us"

So do you really want that to happen to you, after all thoses decade, thoses century of suffering by being shunned, otracized, hunted, violented, imprisonned, murdered?
If no, then start thinking of a way to fix your attitude, to fix the way you're doing things.... Because, right now, you are not on the good path.

You said something similar to me once, but I appreciate what you're trying to do. I think what you have to see though is that it's simply not worth engaging with these people (yah, "these people" ).

Report and move on. You'll notice that they get themselves in a frenzy whenever someone dares to challenge their nonsense. What happens when they're left to their own is that they eventually end up just going so far off topic with insane rants about minorities that it becomes very easy to simply report them. No engagement needed.

There is no conversation to be had here, and as frustrating as it is to see outright hate speech being allowed on the official forums, you can't fight it if the mods refuse to intervene.
