The first two songs are the best and incidentally are Uematsu's from original soundtrack.

I don't know who's doing these new songs, but they sound pretty forgettable.

I just realized: They made much PR with the fact that Uematsu was making the music for FFXIV. Now they totally re-release the game. Will there still be the Uematsu-Music? Or will it be totally replaced? What leads me to the question: Is it really necessary to change THAT aspect of the game?? Sure there will be totally new maps and the game will have a different look, so the music has to be adapted. But changing a successful part of the game, by using different composers is a risk in my opinion, and not neccessary either.

There's like 80 amazing tracks on the original soundtrack which any game designer would love to use, so I doubt the dev team would just trash all that hard work. I know they are fond of trashing stuff for no reason, but they're not that stupid surely.
