How to make Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata:
Step 1: Piano.
Step 2: There is no step 2.

You have no idea what you're talking about.
Why? So it can be like every other fantasy-themed game out there?
I'm really getting sick of these guitar haters now. There's plenty of tracks in the game that are orchestral, I don't see why you have a problem with a few rockin' battle BGM's, it's kind of what Final Fantasy was notorious for at one point.

What's funny is most of FF's battle music in general almost always has a guitar in there, usually synthesized especially in the later FFs.

The more I listen to the 1.22 tracks, the more desperately I want an OST with all of this stuff on it so I can listen to it all the time. That goes for all of the other new (and old) tracks as well.
I know that an OST has to be planned for after the release of 2.0. I'd just like to add to the chorus of voices requesting it. Hear me, O Square Enix music gods! Groveling before you, I humbly request that the OST be released around the same time that 2.0 goes on sale, that it include every track from the game, and that it be available on your North American store.
Your adoring fans beseech you! m(_ _)m

Yup some of these are definitely passing the final fantasy 'chills test'. Listen to the music and if you feel chills up your back the music receives a pass grade.
Good work music team! Also keep rocking those violins, I'm addicted.
