Thread: 1.22 BGM

I was just all "hmm this stuff sounds okay I guess", and then it got to the epic Organ/singing/rock pieces and OMG! Its so awesome and distinct! I'm looking forward to hearing this stuff in game.

I seriously want there to be an unlockable BGM section in this game.

The vocal organ rock song thing is just awesome that is all I can say about that. Love the others as well but that middle one is just pure win in every way.

What's with XIV's BGM (both old and new)? Too many XIV tracks sound horribly tacky... I know the composer works hard on these tracks but please drop the electric guitar and the MIDI brass and pick up an orchestra.

Funny thing about this is music scores in WoW and Skyrim sound horribly tacky in comparison because it tries to be overly dramatic when it doesn't need to be. XIV's music is far superior.

Agreed, XIV has a superior soundtrack hands down. I'm just not sure if it gives me the FF feel as much as XI's soundtrack did.
