    Oh I defos agree that there should be more interaction between skills but thats not the direction SE is taking things, they keep hacking away at "bloat" to the point high jump and mirage dive feel like pointless fluff. They may as well just hack the entire limb off at this point.

    Im just a little defeated with the direction the job has been taken and obviously dont sincerely wish for the job to get worse. Just indulging in annoyance. Not helpful I know, but we said what we said and gave our concerns, still it came to this exact senario we were all worried about.

    Hard not to react with a little salt :P

    I know there are some people who wanted to keep the status quo but honestly. After play DRG for so long, the prospect of them reworking the job was kinda exciting and yes the people ranting about the naivete of believing it would turn out well ended up being correct. But I wanted to belieb ya know?

    Ultimately, I'll continue playing DRG but with a little less sparkle in my eye #pityparty xD ahh just feelsbad

    DRG players when square removes a really dated jump animation that is supposed to be our mobility ability and had no interaction with any other ability: NOO DRAGOON IS ABOUT JUMPING WHY REMOVE A JUMP?????

    DRG players when devs remove a clunky interaction between cooldowns that caused an annoying drift unless played in a really annoying contrived way: might as well remove high jump if they're going to make a damage ability only used for damage on a dps spec.

    Hard to take these forums seriously. Bunch of oldheads.

    What's funny now too is, dragoon is harder now than it was before. Just harder in the ways it should be, and has all clunk removed.

    Also the complaints about our new mobility spell are so weird. We do a backflip to disengage, and then loop back in with a dragonlike swoop. If you pair the two abilities together it looks like a dragon doing a loop dive. Maybe you are just bad at fantasy? On top of it having less action delay than spineshatter dive, both thematically and for gameplay smoothness it is an upgrade.

    How is DRG harder than it was before it play like DRK now and DRK is easy and DRK got a gauge to manage if they die they need to charge their blood back even dying as a DRG now its nothing you don't loose your eyes or burst if pressing a lot of button is the hard part for you maybe but its not harder than it was before they even removed one positional

    because it has a lot more ogcds to weave and a way busier opener and more frequent burst windows? do you really think there was any difficulty in training yourself to press high jump before geirskogul? that's all "gauge management" boiled down to, sequencing your abilities in a way that lined everything up without any thought.

    literally a top dragoon player is complaining about it being more difficult in this very thread. it's funny.

    I find the new DRG easy af OGCD on controller at least IDK on PC are not hard to press if you play DRK like me it's the same gameplay so it's easy for me and not as engaging as it was before

    Good for you buddy. Sometimes it's best to avoid using conjecture and just look at the facts when discussing change. Nobody cares or asked if you find it easy, the fact is that there is more to do and less clunk. It is objectively harder in the ways it should be and objectively more streamlined in the ways it should be.

    I think a lot of it is that parsers are mad they can't get free score from the job design having been contrived and unintuitive for so many years.

    Dragoon is more busy now, sure but it´s easy if you use the right macros for specific stuff. Like you can put all OGCD dps skills(except Dragonfire Dive + Follower) in one macro in a specific working order, put Dragonfire Dive + Follower and the new 2x Leap in one macro for 3x leap, put all buffs in one macro, put all healing mechs in one macro and the last 2 GCD skills from each rotation you can put in one macro(2 seperate macros for each rotation) aswell to make the finisher stuff easier(the way it´s made without macro is just a mess imo).

    Now some will come and blabla you shouldn´t use macros, but they don´t even now how to use them for sure. Because for me it works without delays etc, just perfectly fine, its just about how you use them.
