You're sorta right... But being forced to be solo is nowhere near as imposing as having to sit in Ul'dah whining at the top of your lungs spamming (begging) everyone looking for a party. I've had party quests sit in my lists for months. I -still- havent finished WHM and BLM yet (let alone the others) cause I havent had the good fortune to have had the right levels at the right time when everyone else was blazing through them. I've seen people sitting there recruiting for hours before they had a full party. Andrien in post #100 said it.

So forced solo is no where near as inconvenient.

Solution... I said it already:
"In a lot of ways I wish the content was more flexible so that it could adjust to your party (or solo) strength. "

I will say this tho. It is hard for a game to be all things to all people all the time. The creators sure have their work cut out for them. Especially when dealing with whiners and crybabies like us. ^.^
