Where can we sign?Avatars are easy as hell. Server limitations are the only thing that makes those fights difficult.
Just say it already, you want XI-2. Everything you listed was a core component of XI. Just say, "I want another game just like XI, but with new stories and characters."

CoP main scenario style, yes please.

Forgive me if this was brought up in the thread already. TLDR. I am not against making main scenarios of games and expansions available to party play, however I do not think that should be the only way to get through it. I really am truly for content being created that can be scaled to the size of group. IDK if this is possible, but I really think it should be.
I am a person who may not have time to pull people together to get through something. So I would prefer to level in groups when I can and solo main story stuff on my own time. If people would prefer to group up, then I think the programming should recognize "Oh there is more than one person, let the content be X amount more difficult and add a special something for grouping up". That is just my 2 gil...which I personally believe is more than Gath's...![]()

This I can get behind. That way the soloers are not missing out on story content. Of course, this would mean all story fights are redoable, but I'd be alright with that too.Forgive me if this was brought up in the thread already. TLDR. I beg to differ. The fight lasting less than 45 seconds is not epic. Epic would involve actual fighting. Timing a -ga and letting loose is far from it.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)

Please stop trollollolling, the game already has an extensive party system - use it!!!!!
If anything, there needs to be the option to solo the entire thing without affecting those who want to use a party system only
I don't mean to be rude in anyway, but I think some of you guys never played other MMORPGs. FFXI was my first MMO as well but, I played others like EVE Online, Star Trek Online, Aion, and Lineage II. None of which forces you to party for the main story campaign. Truth be told, they're all MMORPGs too, so when somebody say MMO is for none solo that is just bs. Yes of course there is content for party, just want to make that clear.
People have played other MMOs, precisely why we want something different with the main storyline. You and a bunch of whiners about how there should be "challenge" and "struggle" in-game does not equal everybody.
Because businesses are just gonna cater to their little niche populations instead of trying to spread the genre to a bigger demographic to make themselves more money. I benefitted from the change in the MMO genre because for once I could actually see the damn story without throwing away hours of my life. Yeah, the games aren't made around guys with tons of free time anymore, but now keep the working dads, computer unsavy aunts and never-played-a-game-before grandmas in mind. I'm fine with that. Hell, I encourage it because it means more people to play with in group content. If you're finding the changes in the genre dull and boring, perhaps it is you who should find something else to play. The MUD/MMO genre has been destroyed by "OMFG I JUST WANNA HAVE FUN!" and this is why pretty much every new MMO is a dull boring piece of shit.
You're never forced to do it solo. You could still group up to make things faster/easier. All it would mean is that if I can't get anyone to help me, I am not stuck at that part of the story for months or years on end.Why is it ok to be FORCED TO DO IT SOLO but not to be "Forced to do it in a Party"?

Bingo. There were CoP runs in Xi that were way to complicated to run through with AI. There is every possibility that some of us want the combined challenge of finding a group of people and then overcoming something very challenging with them. I mean, I COULD play basketball with myself in real life, but I find it more challenging and enjoyable to do it with a team, since, you know, its a TEAM sport. THose of you that want to play a solo MMO go jump on the Star Wars bandwagon, thats pretty much who they designed that game for. The rest of us WANT to overcome difficult things in a group so that when we finally do overcome them and are rewarded for it, we have someone to hi-five. Instead of what you proposing, which seems to include just hi-fiving myself or an npc that follows me around and only fakes elation for my benefit. I like forming bonds and friendships, not sitting around playing with myself :P
Edit: A *short* list of aallllllllllll the things you can already do solo in this game:
Craft (forced solo)
Local leves (forced solo)
Gathering DoL (forced solo)
Gathering DoL leves (forced solo)
GC leves (forced solo)
Regular leves
Solo XP
90% of the Side quests
And you want to add another thing to this list?
No thanks.
We already have plenty of soloable content, and there are plenty of other MMORPGs that are all about soloing.
Same here. I did San d'Oria, Bastok, and Windurst long before it was even the "cool" thing to do. It was never hard. That's not a game's problem, I did Sandy, Bastok AND Windy from rank 1 - 10 well before the 99 cap. Do you actually seek out help? Have friends? I even did CoP (while it was capped) up to 5 times counting a sea mule I had to drag through.
It's easy to get a group together if you have enough friends willing to help, otherwise you can't necessarily blame a game being designed for groups and no one wants to help. The only reason it'll be hard is if people are still stuck in the "This is supposed to be a solo MMO" mentality and SE neglects to add a "seeking x,y,z" comment system like they added in XI.
I certainly can agree with this myself, but these people whining about solo will still demand the rest to be soloable. (Of course, I've been fairly moderate in the first place.)
Not forced to do it solo? A few days ago I tried helping a fellow LS-mate with the main scenario, it turned out I couldn't help him. Don't you dare tell me that's not being forced to solo. You and a bunch of whiners about how there should be "challenge" and "struggle" in-game does not equal everybody.
