Here is what they've shown during the Letter:
Aether-Hues, Pallet Stacks, and Rainbow Gauge
• You have a one-button three-part spell combo (Fire Red> Wind Green> Water Blue). These spells are weaker but with a quicker cast time. Once you complete a combo, you gain a white palette stack (max of 5) and 25 Rainbow Gauge.
• White Palette stacks can then be used to cast White Holy, an insta-cast spell.
• Once you get 50 Rainbow Gauge, you can then flip the palette to subtractive colors (Ice Cyan > Thunder Magenta > Earth Yellow for your combo and Comet Black for your palette stacks). These spells are more powerful but have longer cast times.
• They didn't show the AoE rotation.
Motifs and Rendering
• You get three "Motifs" (Creature, Weapon, and Landscape) you can store then Render to use them.
• Each motif has its own canvas, button to create it, and button to use it.
• Using the create motif buttons can be used whenever but during battle, they will have cast times (no cast times outside of battle).
• The buttons that use the motifs have their own cooldown times and charges, Creature having 3, Weapon having 2, and Landscape having only 1.
• The Motifs are each separate from each other.
• Creature Motif seems to revolve around collect different parts of a creature then using those parts to do attacks and form creatures. The parts are Pom-Pom, Wings, Claw, and Fangs (they seem to go in this order).
• Once you get a Pom-Pom and Wings, you can use Moogle Beam (this will not use up the Pom-Pom and Wings).
• Once you get Pom-Pom, Wings, Claw, and Fangs, you can summon Madeen (This will use up all the parts).
• Weapon will create a hammer which you can use for a quick, ranged triple combo attack.
• Landscape is your party buffs.
Other
• You have a movement tool, that will move you forward a few yalms in the direction you're facing then buff your movement speed for a few seconds.
