That's my thinking as well. It was time for a full caster. Although, I'm not sure we really need any more full jobs after DT's release. I mean, looking at the various armor names like Slaying, Striking, etc... where would it be needed?

    We're filled to the brim!

People want Geomancer but that's just Astrologian all over again.

Maybe Green Mage but CBU3 has shown a dislike for DoTs. They've designed everything around a 2 minute burst window and a job built around DoTs doesn't fit within that paradigm. It's too bad, my favorite class in WoW was the Affliction Warlock. Playing a job in FFXIV which allows me to DoT up my enemies, place conditional buffs and mitigation on my friends, without any healing spells would be interesting.

It's not too difficult to come up with a solution to make it work. Just copy the Thundercloud mechanic from BLM and couple that with the Flourish skill from DNC.

Or fill up a gauge when the DoTs are running and then use hard hitting attacks which consume the gauge.

It’s a good thing not to answer your enemies. I scarcely ever do. Perhaps Emily is more like me than I am like myself. Perhaps she would rather not answer her friends, even. She keeps it all in her heart.
