Yo-Kai Event: BLU Major Griefing Problem

I can perhaps see why ppl aren’t joining your groups. If you act like this on the forums I bet your ingame messages were as bad or worse. You act like a karen.

I only act like that when I'm dealing with morons. I have no reason to act like that with reasonable people. A reasonable person would've adjusted and let people actually do the FATEs. In the heat of the moment in all things, the most I could even type is "lfg" or is "There any open parties?" I won't give away how I have been doing the FATEs lately because I'd rather not be griefed. But I've given up trying to join groups or make groups because of how anti-social the majority of players have been. I just want to participate in an event the same as them. But unlike them, I am not a selfish jerk.

i just turn on tank stance and throw my axe at enemies a few times , desync, move to next fate, repeat. i just tag all the fates and get the credit, i make the speed demons work for me. you just have to get there first then let them come finish the fate for you. adapt, overcome, win. like if you dont have a tank surely you own the expansion with the gunblade tank and you can just go get it at 60 if you dont have a tank already (im so stoke for gunblade tank when i get the full game) and just win ez fate credit.

Maybe get off Dynamis and go to Crystal for example, I saw at least 10 PFs yesterday for yokai grinding when I logged on in the evening (which is why I'm confused why people are saying they can't get groups). I really haven't seen any of this toxic exclusionary behavior myself yet so idk.

Edit: As of 7:42 AM EST, there are 3 FATE parties for Yokai up on Crystal with no limitations on who joins.

I was on Crystal when I made my original post. I'm just saying. I recently abused the free transfer for 50 jet black dye, honestly. But I've been doing my FATEs on different servers lately anyway. I absolutely detest FATE farming. I think FATEs are god-awful content, so I've been pacing myself to 1 to 2 weapons a day. Some days, I get none. It's hard when you are an adult with a life and the event has such bad rng. But Crystal didn't serve me well for that purpose. I honestly had better luck on the OCE servers, but the timezones are kind of wonky there. But the competition has significantly died off. Now it's just boring solo FATE farming.

But I still stand by what I said about them. I used the same process as anyone else would've, and I was met with anti-social jerks who wanted to speed run FATEs regardless of the present company of players. They didn't have groups up. They wouldn't add you. And nobody would join yours if you made one. And the shout chat was full of people complaining. Which, by the way, I never did. Not once. I kept it short and sweet. There's no point in complaining to the toxic child doing it. They will just keep doing it because they get their rocks off that way. I just simply asked them if they could slow down. That's all. I'm willing to go under oath on that. Slap the Bible down. I will put my hand on it, or however that system works, I've never actually been in trouble with the law, but still. I have no reason to lie about what happened.

Trust me, the last thing I want to do is constantly worry about defending myself to a bunch of trolls on the internet. At this point, I want to be done with all of this. Both the FATEs and the interactions with the forums.

You don't even need a group. Just follow the bunch of people doing the fates, land, throw some AoEs to tag the mobs (choose a job with instant cast, spamable AoEs like dancer or ninja), help pull/kill further waves, rinse and repeat, there's nothing to it. And blue mages or not fates get disintegrated pretty quickly when dozen of people are doing them at the same time.

Again, a reasonable person. I wasn't even originally the one saying for the Blue Mages to slow down. I got into very few groups those first couple days, but the ones I did get into were very anti blue mage. I was actually telling people to calm down in these chats. It wasn't until maybe 3 days in that I had a group of Blue Mages following me when I would go to less used zones with worse FATE spawn rates and going at super sonic speeds. I eventually couldn't keep up. It's hard when they can get there before you hydro pull freeze vibe leave. I tried a few times, got bronzes and silvers. I asked them, "Hey, is there any way you guys can maybe slow down on the insta killing FATEs?" I got no responses, and they started camping the FATEs. So I went to the last of the three zones I could for that specific minion, and I don't know if it's funny to do it or what, but they followed me. So I logged out, went to a different DC, and did some there, but I never had problems doing FATEs when people were being reasonable. And the more the days gone on and all the selfish people go theirs, I can now leisurely do FATEs.

It's no longer an issue, but it still happened regardless.

My recollection of blues even when I did the event years ago wasn't a good one. They made it hard for me to get credit. I'm not surprised that still appears to be a problem.

Went back to try again and man, this is just straight up not getting better over time. There's still BLUs marked as Taraveler nuking fates every time I try to do this event.
and they still get really hostile when you ask them to not do that.
