Yo-Kai Event: BLU Major Griefing Problem

It's so sad people are that desperate to collect a bunch of weapons that look like low poly low res ugly toys based on a bankrupt franchise that only Yoshi-P cares about.

Went back to try again and man, this is just straight up not getting better over time. There's still BLUs marked as Taraveler nuking fates every time I try to do this event.
and they still get really hostile when you ask them to not do that.

Pretty much as I thought, though as some think it'll be easier if you wait.

It'll only be much easier a month/weeks from DT. As new/Old Players flood the servers and create a Sentiment of Having BLUs hold back for players Participation Points.

Rough Middle it sure is.

(But at least it isn't as bad since previous instances of Yokai will definitely have stopped the majority of players partaking)

I'll have to do yokai again for the last four in HW/SB]

Thanks to this event I got all the remaining Memory of the Dying mats for the SHB Relic Weapons, 720 HW FATES in total. Blue Mages were helpful at speeding things up. I'm amazed by how many people are crying at Blue Mages and rather play a regular class for this type of content instead...It's just so bad and painfully slow.

Peope are blacklisting people for being a blu in the overorld now? Cringe. But I would be okay with it as these aren’t the type of people id want to talk to or hang with anyways.

Actually I have seen worse. I was leveling (in the 40's) on my Blue just killing toads outside MorDhona and leaving if a fate started. Multiple times someone higher up would come in and intentionally kill off all the mobs so I couldn't. No matter where I went in the zone they would follow and do it again. One claimed it was his duty to make sure no Blue could level.

Yeah I went and did something else. The hate against blue right now is palpable

Do yourself a favor: go to the ondo cups in the tempest. Yes, right now, at level 40 something. Fly around and find the area north from the ondo cups with Clionids and Deep-Sea Leeches. The former eat (aka one shot) the later when they get nearby, and if you tag the leeches (say, with flying sardine) and then pull them near a clionid you get EXP for the kill (it works better if you also tag the clionid, they tend to ignore the leeches otherwise). You have to keep running at all time and if you mess up they will obviously one shot you so set your home to ondo cups. You can reach level 80 in a few hours by doing this. (Having access to some healing spells and your chocobo to heal you can be useful once you're high level enough not to quite get one shot)

I am not sure where that even is. The character I am doing it on is just past The Ultimate Weapon in ARR. But I will certainly look up where this is and try it on my main ty

Edit: Googled the Tempest area. Only my main can get there at this point. Only Character I have in that expansion so far.
