The complain is, that there is nothing to use the gauge, except for 1 skill, without Kaiten, right?

The solution would be: add some new skills to that as a replacememt.
Esspecial, when the other skill was only a dmg increasing skill, for 1 attack. That was mostly used for only 1 other attack.
