Dynamic ward creation will be possible if SE goes full cloud servers for FF14. But at this moment no the current infrastructure cant do it. And until we know SE exact plans in regards to cloud servers we are stuck with what we have now.

There would still be the issue of when SE would choose to add more wards with Dynamic ward creation.
Do they do it only when all wards across all districts are filled?
Do they do it only when all wards of a specific housing district are filled?
Do they do it when a specific size across all housing districts is filled or again if it just happens within a specific district?
Even with it, I see a future filled with unhappy players because they are unable to obtain the plot they want when the limited number currently available sell out. Outside of the ranked PvP seasonal rewards, I can't think of anything else in game that a player can't get because the reward can only be possessed by a specific number of players.
This is supposed to be a cooperative game, not a competitive one. Limited rewards don't promote cooperation.
Exactly. The only thing I've wanted since I've started playing is a large house and one of the relic weapons. I have been pursuing a large for literally years. Started with a small while I made money. Eventually got a medium with help from a friend. Saved a ton more money. Larges were 200mil at one point to buy from other people, up to 500mil+ at one point. It got way out of hand. Fast forward to now, you can still buy larges from other players as an FC sell (after the waiting period) but the price is a ridiculous 1bil+ now. Everything done to help housing has been an absolute joke. I literally don't play any other part of the game. I just log in, enter lottery, log out until next large is available, probably like so many of us do at this point I'd bet. There would still be the issue of when SE would choose to add more wards with Dynamic ward creation.

Unfortunately, it's the system you support that places you in the position of finding it next to impossible to get a large. Even if SE were to move to dynamic ward system, I doubt what they would do add wards based on a specific size not being available. Not every player wants a large but I'm certain that a clear majority would if it were easier to obtain one. That would move the number of wards needed per world from dozens to over a thousand considering the current ward layouts.Exactly. But let's assume for a moment they did. Every time all large plots sold out, SE would add new wards. Would being in a ward/sub-division with only 3 large plots, a couple of mediums and no smalls occupied give you that neighborhood feeling you're looking for? Or would it quickly get boring as you stand in your yard looking out over all the empty plots and there's never any other players around?
I wouldn't say that everything they have done to update housing over the years has been a joke, but it definitely has not been sufficient to meet player demand. I sometimes wonder if they judge housing status based on just the JP worlds, ignoring that NA and EU worlds have larger player populations.
Out of curiosity, what are your feelings on Housing Mirage (assuming it gets implemented at some point in Dawntrail)? Would getting a large interior with a small or medium plot satisfy your desire for a large, or is the large plot itself also part of what you want?

Instanced housing will get the Island Sanctuary treatment. Once its done, nobody will really stay to use it because you cant mass invite people to an instance hous, just friendsUnfortunately, it's the system you support that places you in the position of finding it next to impossible to get a large. he's going to grift, harass, downplay, disenfranchise, gaslight, stalk, and gate keep!
100% satisfied. I don't care about the prestige or e-peen of having a large. I literally just want the large vertical space to build into (smalls and mediums both have have the same exact interior height; some of us use all of the decorations on 1 floor). It would be cool to have the fun and unique large exteriors but I also prefer LB and all of the large exteriors there face sideways anyway. I literally just want to decorate a large interior while living in a neighborhood. I am sitting here waiting for ANY UPDATE on the mirage system. They said they are looking into it but we still don't know if they can even do it.Unfortunately, it's the system you support that places you in the position of finding it next to impossible to get a large. Umms, Mao mights be mistakings what Kali tryings to say and if so Mao apologizes, but Mao pretty sure mediums not same as smalls for interior height. Smalls has main floor and basement while mediums and larges has upstairs, main floor and basement.100% satisfied. I don't care about the prestige or e-peen of having a large. She's referring to the 2-story open-air vertical space in the large foyer. No other house layout has that much uninterrupted vertical space to build into. If you go on housingsnap and search "Tower" you'll see that every tower design is a large by necessity.

Imagine then for a moment that while you are trying to get your dream large house, you could complete certain requirements for let's say grand company or reach certain point of main storyline. With that you get a small space with the design of your prefered ward (or possibly any prefered location in game). Seemingly out of the way location that's just the right size, not too small and not too large, for a house and certain amount of outdoor furnishings. On there you build a house of any size you want. So now while trying to get a spot in the neighborhood you could already have your house, and possibly be able to move it from that spot into the spot you might acquire, so there is no hassle of building and decorating the place again. Maybe even ability to link your house in adventurer plate, so random people could have a chance of visiting your house and leaving a message if you so desireExactly.
