Hi, he is smart because he takes the time to learn about the Japanese culture. He's passionate and dedicated to it. I see no issues here. I would do the same rather than be ignorant and think the world is my oyster because news flash and reality check. The world is not yours and you don't have to agree with other people and other people don't have to agree with you either.
