Samurai Deleted Action(s), Comeback of Ageha in 7.x or beyond?

Right, so, first off, I am Japanese. Secondly, I've did kenjutsu for over ten years in my youth. All the poster did is reveal the depths of their ignorance while attacking someone else over their supposed lack of knowledge by info dumping a bunch of irrelevant information. In the end, they're still wrong about the original point (that they didn't even argue against correctly), because as the person they quoted stated, you wouldn't be sheathing and drawing your weapon over and over again in the middle of a fight as XIV's Samurai does. In other words, they prettied their post up with a bunch of mostly correct, if contextually irrelevant, information in an attempt to appear as an authority on the subject when any actual authority would tell you that, no, Samurai's animations are very much style over substance. Frankly the fact they compare Samurai's many excessive flourishes to something like chiburi is extremely laughable.

Ok cool, then say that before instead of a very non constructive feedback. Everyone can learn from each other. No need to call people out regardless of what ethnicity you are or which country you grew up with. Some people are just trying to inform other people with constructive feedback that comes from the goodness of their hearts, if the information is wrong or misleading then someone can correct it and point them into the right direction in a polite manner if they feel the need to do so. It wasn’t meant to be an attack. This is all over me just posting some definitions to a word that seemed to be misunderstood. In the future I’ll word things better so they don’t come off as an attack. I know I don’t type the best or explain things very well.

I don’t really care about being an authority on anything. I just saw a misuse and wanted to speak on it. I could really care less if people on the FFXIV forum saw me as a knowledgeable person on anything.

As for the post itself,
It was just a badly formatted post of definitions and explanations.
Everyone here is way too passionate about things, especially Kaiten for me. So please stop attacking each other over me. It’s just pointless in the end.

@SoloD007 : I would recommend just ignoring side comments like that in the future . If someone doesn’t have anything important to add to the conversation I would say it’s worth ignoring them.

Hiya Cynric, No worries mate, don't mention it . I give credit where credit is due and I bring down the hammer on toxic people, one of my life philosophy is an eye for an eye, a tooth for tooth. I don't go around bullying other people or passively-aggressively forcing other people into doing what I want or to agree with my opinion but I won't stand still or keep silent on people mocking me or bullying me (I friendly suggest this to everyone) because if you haven't done anything wrong nor offend other people, offenders have no right to be-little/mock/bully you just because they think themselves as god or some kind of omnipotent creature. It's just not right, I stand up for people who just want to help and teach naughty/toxic people how to be a decent human being (because obviously they don't know this concept). The forum foundational purpose and intention is a platform for people to freely voice their opinions/ideas or just asking for help etc etc. Everyone has the right to agree or disagree with each other because everyone is different and have different views on stuff. People that come into the forum to oppress others are no different to a real life terrorist or a dictator (example: Adolf Hitler), no one likes terrorist nor a dictator but we shouldn't be afraid nor cower before them. On a side note, I am very fascinated by the Japanese culture, especially their martial arts/kendo practices because I come from a Chinese lineage/background so a lot of traditional/old kendo style(s) were originated from ancient Chinese swordplay called "Jian Fa/剑法" which essentially means fencing/swordplay or martial arts called "Gong Fa/ 攻伐/Gong Fu/Kung Fu" which essentially means "To attack or to raid/effort". Hence why I decided to invest time, money and effort into FFXIV because of Samurai kendo/Iaijutsu and the game developers actually listens to its player base and it's community (to a certain extent because at the end of the day, Square-Enix is still a global conglomerate company and their main priority is cost/profit). Anyways, I have rambled on for a bit and gone slightly off topic sorry haha...

Kaiten is one of the worst animations this job has ever had lol. It's like poser samurai anime flair to the maximum. So glad it was removed and ikishoten should be next, then guren.

Only then will samurai stop being an anime fantasy job and reflect the fantasy of actual samurai values.

It's fine to like kaiten for its animation, but not everyone is in the same boat and it's a really good thing that it was removed.
