    SE wouldn't endorse this because they say it will give some players an advantage over the others.


    There's already 2 android apps, and one iOS app on their respective markets. support those.

    There are a few more than 2 ffxiv apps for android, ranging from messeger, to eorzea clock and server status.

    There is also an FFXIV guide one which had recipie information, abilities etc. however it hasnt been updated since about Jan, so it is all but worthless right now.

    SE need to pull that stick out of their ass, they need to take a "good" look at what other MMO's are adding in terms of user accessibility and ease of use.

    Not necessarily copy them but at least make an effort to add similar functionality.

    Being able to access and set up my retainer would be a nice feature.
