Yeah, saying "thank you" whenever someone on their team dies, marking me with a "target to ignore" and saying "good match" and "thank you" four times after the match is over is not toxic.
I didn't know this rule, I'll fix this.

This is an MMORPG, what do you want them to do exactly ?
People already cant even talk to each other to prevent "toxicity", it's limited to pre-made lines so that everyone can feel "safe", what else do you want them to do ? prevent people from communicating entirely ?
like cmon lmao

I want the ability to silence the person that is annoying me during the match, why is that too much to ask? This is an MMORPG, what do you want them to do exactly ?

No one wants to come into their fun time and be made to feel like trash because someone is rage tilting. Doesn't matter that it's not "real words", the context and meaning is pretty clear. They're abusing the system to trash you. You can be upset without needing to be a jerk about it. Heaven forbid square expect people to act appropriately and have consequences and repurcussions for their actions and words. The anonymity that people think they have on the internet has led people to realize they can say the most vile things with zero consequences. It's kinda sad that expecting people to just treat each other with the most basic dignity is considered being a "safe" space.
Tbf I think square can be a little harsh sometimes if you believe people are being honest with their reason for getting a ban, but considering the racist, anti-semitic, homophobic, sexist, disgusting, etc things that other people can say in other games and not even get a second look, I'll take squares method.

To be transparent, nobody wants to come into their fun times and constantly lose because people are ignoring pings and throwing, sabotaging their entire team. These type of people should stick to FL, not a mode that requires 100% teamwork. Js. Some people find enjoyment in winning, what is fun is subjective and you gotta look at the perspective from the other party. The guy in the screenshot probably told her to fall back, she didn't, so he did it again, she didn't, then decided to make their to ignore because of her possible selfish/toxic form of gameplay? Throwing games can also be reported, it's also bad sportsmanship and ruins the experience for others. *shrugs*
He didn't pig other people, he pinged her, so maybe she is the one in the wrong?
I played pvp games my entire life, both online and irl. If you have a teammate who is unwilling to cooperate, it's infuriating.
Whether it's sports, trading card games, video games, anything. Nobody wants to lose because of ONE person who isn't being a team player.
