This is an MMORPG, what do you want them to do exactly ?

No one wants to come into their fun time and be made to feel like trash because someone is rage tilting. Doesn't matter that it's not "real words", the context and meaning is pretty clear. They're abusing the system to trash you. You can be upset without needing to be a jerk about it. Heaven forbid square expect people to act appropriately and have consequences and repurcussions for their actions and words. The anonymity that people think they have on the internet has led people to realize they can say the most vile things with zero consequences. It's kinda sad that expecting people to just treat each other with the most basic dignity is considered being a "safe" space.

Tbf I think square can be a little harsh sometimes if you believe people are being honest with their reason for getting a ban, but considering the racist, anti-semitic, homophobic, sexist, disgusting, etc things that other people can say in other games and not even get a second look, I'll take squares method.

EDIT: For the ones asking what's the issue, this person:
- Said "thank you" whenever someone of their team died;
- Marked others with a "target to ignore" sign;
- Said "thank you" and "good match" four times after the match ended;
- Is doing this kind of stuff every day and is not the only one doing it.

This is a reportable offense, and they do suspend accounts for this. There isn't much else SE can do but take action against people who abuse the system. I have reported people for doing this very thing because it's super hostile. I would report this player and move on, OP. The GMs are pretty quick at responding to harassment in duties.

The best advice I can give is to swap chat tabs and mute system sounds for the duration of a match, so you wouldn't have to see or hear any of the pings.

People can't talk to each other because they are disrespectful. Spam is annoying.

Ironically, even if CC had party chat, I'd turn it off anyway. Any meaningful piece of info you can give in the heat of the moment is already at your fingertips with quick-chat. Spending time to stand still and type a message in a mode as fast-paced as CC is a detriment.

Oh I hope not. I love when leaders will spam directions to the team, it's great. If the messages are offensive or mocking, then report those sure, but it's nice having some guidance for the herd. Unless we're talking about different messages and I'm just being silly :3

edit: oh, you're referring to CC, that makes more sense I guess. I'm referring to frontlines.

I feel like if you're throwing games and refusing to listen to the pings, being it's a TEAM-based mode. Then it's pretty silly to get upset because it was spammed because people are just forkin' around. Especially in Rated. Also if someone is trying to get Series exp and achievements, it's all the more annoying that no one is even bothering to read the pings. With that being said, just turn your sound off lol. If there isn't an actual chat option, of course, people will be angry. CC is meant to be competitive. Now if you're talking about the Casual mode. Then idk.

The screenshots made it seem like you were throwing the game, and someone got frustrated.
