I like how you compare it to WoW's class balancing. And even go into detail how much they care and how much effort they go into testing and talking with top guilds, etc. Because...

Disc priest, still the penultimate requirement for every raid, and a well played one makes some others obsolete(mistweaver).

How about that sweet frost DK buff then immediate nerf within 3 days after patch released? All that testing sure was useful.

Blood DK still one of the strongest tanks and capable of soloing even current content (looking at you solo lord kazzak kill)

Yes they do play the game =) And also they are checking with Alexander Savage to see more insight as to the adjustments of all the jobs as of now base on how fast the top raiders clear it, team composition, dps and much more feedback. =) They have stated this before as well. If someone else could cite it, I appreciate it =)

We can nit pick all day about tanks but, they are not all meant to be the same. You point out that DRK has worse cd's than pld but, you did not mention that drk has better hate control on single and group targets.

I have seen some really good drk's so I will leave it up to the bad boy drk to defend the class

I have seen plenty of ast either keep the same hps as whm / sch or out preform them.

Bard is doing pretty good imo I use one as my secondary and I have no issues keep up with the rest of the dps. In fact on most df / pf groups I am typically top dog unless I get a beast dps. Either way I know quite a few better brds then my self. If I am holding well in all my parties including static I would assume the people who know what they are doing are doing just fine.

So you only not play a different version of WoW but also of FFXIV.

Unless the AST were better players, that is simply IMPOSSIBLE. They simply have less potency in their heals then the other 2
