And you're missing the point. Which is harder, something that is easy 95% of the time but puts the entire difficulty within that last 5%, or something that is steadily difficult, spreading that over the whole fight?
Something that is spread out across the entire fight.

If the last 5% of a fight is the only difficulty, then all a player has to do is learn 5% of that fight. If those mechanics are at the end then it's not a difficult fight to learn, its a tedious one.

Ex5 is harder than Ex4 to get clears at level with players because all of the mechanics come within a roughly 45-60 second period with each of those mechanic sets having 3 overlapping mechanics that are difficult to resolve and each wave of them is a body check meaning if anyone dies, the group is more or less guaranteed to wipe.
More movement in ex4, harsher DPS check (from what I recall), and far more lethal mechanics. Especially if you want to bring up overlap, there is significantly more of that in ex4.

In ex5 if you die during flamespire you just made the following mechanic easier for everyone. Sweeping immolation spreads don't really matter either because the tanks can just stand outside safe spots to give dps more room for spreads. A fight (ex4) that's putting pressure on you THE ENTIRE TIME is significantly harder than a fight that you only need to worry about 60 seconds of and that's not an opinion either, that's a fact. You want to bring up LC in ex5 but it was easy enough to skip that with just a regular PF team during week 1 because of how forgiving the fight was.

This really boggles my mind that you're trying to compare ex4 and ex5, those fights were stark contrasts to each other while ex6 alone is a better representation of what you're trying to argue. Even with ex6 I would still argue that you're wrong because the issue isn't extreme mechanics it's the fact that casual content is simply too casual.

Casual content shouldn't be so easy that you can remove half your hotbar and still breeze through content without a worry in the world. And we shouldn't be trying to dial down the moderate skill level of extremes for a playerbase thats kept ignorant through square enixs poorly tuned casual content.
Ex5 is 7 minutes of nothing then 1 minute of Savage
There is nothing about those mechanics that are savage difficulty.
