Years from now when the game eventually has a much smaller player base i definitely don't want a game that has only erpers club venue people and modders and be stuck not having ques because all the people that enjoy content like dungeons and raids are long gone once the game stops getting actively updated anymore.

That's already what this game is about, people do their daily chores, roulettes etc, then are off to either other games, or venues/clubs, ERP or other such activities

Last weekend at about 1 AM, think it was saturday, Chaos had 4 PF up for end game content, I think that says enough

I really don't think it's anyone's business what others do with their game time. Why do you care?

Endwalker has been a lackluster expansion and there are other games to play like BG3, Starfield, Armored Core, etc. Even if Endwalker was this amazing expansion, people would still flop off to play other games because they can and these games are great.

I don't think every person is just hiding out ERPing for 24 hours a day, there are just better options for things to play and do right now since all we have is a relic line that can be done with dailies lolol.

Modders yeah, ERPers not so much, at least a lot of them are not actively doing content, because they basically use the game as a tool to, you know what, I dont need to spell it out lol, and there are a LOT of erpers.

The constant annoyance of club advertisement every 2 seconds also makes it so i have to decide to turn off shout chat to avoid it or keep it active for hunts. I hate having to get rid of a useful chat to avoid the annoyance of constant ads for club venues with twitch djs.

The dissatisfied are the severe minority. They think that they're bigger than they are, as they cannot fathom that most players are happy with the game.

Actually factual tbh, I wouldnt say overwhelming majority, but definitely a huge part of the population is unhappy with the game, and a lot are just stuck glued to the game because of their "FOMO house", so they stay subscribed

According to steamcharts (which is a good sample), on 6.0 release we had a peak of 95102 players, with an average of 53729

As of today, we are at 21000 average players with a peak at 35k, so the peak lost about 2/3rd of players, and the average has lost about 60%, so obviously, the "overwhelming majority" is not so happy as people on this forum pretend to be, people are quitting, no matter the amount of copium people are high on on this forum.

Now if you add all the people that only log in to afk (I know quite a few), the people just doing nothing in Limsa all day long, the ERPers, venue goers and the likes, I think you would reach a good 80% of people that actually are completely uninterested in the game, bored, or just dont like where things are going, but somehow by the community this is seen as a good thing and a "sign" that the game is doing well, really makes you wonder how deep some people bury their heads in the sand

most people play only for base expansion that normal its even normal for wow people dont care for the patches and play only for the new shiny, sure people stay as we have seen but to say *most people want this* that not true. most people treat this as a normal game you buy off the shelf you play it then quit it.

Then why do we have a feedback forum? You act like XIV has never changed before. The changes from 1.0 to 2.0 where significant, as were the changes from 4.0 to 5.0. Change happens all the time. Your premise is kinda flawed.
