They haven't been about grinds since WoW came out. WoW was a literal game changer for the genre.

But they can still have grinds. This game is filled with grinds already for those interested. Just about every content type has some sort of grind spelled out in the Achievements list.

As someone who is demanding grinds, have you completed every single one of those? Or are you picking and choosing what grinds you'll do?

If you're not doing them all, then maybe you shouldn't be playing a MMORPG.

I don't agree with Atelier. Enough players enjoy the exploration zones that it would be good to see another one added for those players.

I also don't agree with you. Someone shouldn't have to enjoy grinds to play a MMORPG. WoW proved that almost 2 decades ago.

If you genuinely want a game that only has that old school MMORPG grind then OSRS is calling you. https://oldschool.runescape.com/
I respect your opinion, but I'm not saying we shouldnt have exploration zones. Im saying for exploration zones to have more forms of content for progression rather than having just one or two chores or activities for the sake of a grind. A good MMO will have progression where players can tackle it however they want, rather than it being mindless. Im talking about the extreme case where its obviously padded out to keep you retention here. Older MMOs had the advantage where it presented you with a living breathing world full of activity. However I dont see this being the case for Eureka and Bozja, its literally just set dressed FATE zones. And this was a common complaint from what Ive researched back in the days of SB and Shb in the forums. People just didnt generally enjoy it. It why the devs started to back down on those grinds every patch until come this expansion they decided to not do one and focus on newer content.
