I don't need 5+ houses on servers with a severe lack of houses. If I were to buy more than 5 fc houses they would all be cottages in empty fc wards and it would be to make gil, so I could buy all the mounts and minions and music sold on the market board. That's perfectly reasonable, and harms absolutely no one. That's why.Again, my question goes unanswered. Why do you need 5+ houses? Why should you be allowed to buy up multiple medium/large plots all for yourself? Do you have any reasonable explanation for wanting to purchase and hold onto houses for anything besides gil farming and rmt?
Oh please, stop acting like every server in the game is Balmung or that this discussion revolves around NA. I'm on EU, Stormy is on EU, this thread is about an EU server. There is not a single server on EU one would have to transfer away from in order to get a house. Not even for a personal house. You are completely clueless if you think 5+ fc houses is even making a dent in the available housing supply.
I literally sent them a link too earlier, granted I sent it about FC wards, but I have a plot on Sagi W22 which is private in Mist that has over 19 plots available, but as you can see he wasnt too happy with me providing evidence that there is housing for everyoneI don't need 5+ houses on servers with a severe lack of houses. Depriving people of housing you say ?
Let's see here... (I am posting more dont you worry, I'm just getting started)

Goblet W4 https://imgur.com/a/T4l7WKP
Want me to go on ?
Oh, perhaps we should visit empyreum yes ?
Empyreum W2 https://imgur.com/a/ljsrqoj
Empyreum W3 https://imgur.com/a/hzJIv3iI created an alt not long ago, and I am getting my first shirogane small house on that character this week as personal because it's a plot I dont have yet and that I like, this is also the first round I am entering for, so far I have 0 bids agaisnt me, so once again, one wonders where is this "housing scarcity" and "limited ressource".Again, you miss my point entirely, as is to be expected with Storm Peaks. Why should someone be forced to buy in a zone they don't want so you can have all your hoarded houses wherever you please? Why should you be able to deprive people of having a house next to their friends so you can own 5+ houses? Why do you need 5+ houses? Why do you need the gil from Submarine farms to remain high? Why would a submarine farmer turn to RMT if this gil was reduced? I'll wait for ONE answer to any of these.

If you go for whatever house is available instead of only going for the best ones, you can easily get one with enough effort. Right now, it's not hard to get a house, even a good one. I got a great one on my alt with no one else bidding against me. How'd I do that? By bidding in the Goblet, where a lot of people don't want to. The only houses that you'd have to move servers for is if you want one of the best plots, like a Shirogane beachfront plot. And at that point, of course you're going to have a lot of competition, everyone else wants that one too.Again, my question goes unanswered. Why do you need 5+ houses? Why force people to move to servers, that they don't want to be on, away from their friends just so that they can have a house? Why should you be allowed to buy up multiple medium/large plots all for yourself? Do you have any reasonable explanation for wanting to purchase and hold onto houses for anything besides gil farming and rmt?
As for why someone would want 5+ houses, the answer is obvious. They want them, and it's not against the rules to have them. I do think that the people who own entire wards are weird for doing that, but only 5ish houses? Not a big deal my guy.
i spoke to a GM via the ingame report months ago and was basically told cant do anything about it they havent broken ToC or something similar, which to me translated into CBA we make money.
Oh boy, this is such a wild theory.
The limited housing plots and special website aside, it's really a big stretch to assume that submarines are used for RMT purposes. I'm not an expert in that area, but I'm pretty sure there are much better ways to gain gil, lol.
First of all, building all submarines to max level (esp. if you got 30+ FC's) takes a lot of time. You also need better gear, so they can explore better and newer zones.
If you're past that leveling and exploring process, you need to actually get BiS gear for submarines. This is even more expensive. Did you ever craft modified-submarine gear? It's not fun. Especially when you have to turn in every piece 1 by 1.
It also doesnt matter which loot you farm. Furniture, materials, minions or even fight-club mats (NPC=Gil items) - submarines TAKE realtime. You have to wait for the submarines to return. Then you need thousands of FC coins to buy fuel AND repair magitek kits. Even if you craft or buy them, they cost gil either way!
And most importantly, submarines RNG loot system is not reliable to gain gil. Honestly, this thread mixed up subjects just to gain support. And failed at that.
I don't support/defend RMT sellers, but it's not fair to accuse multi-housing owner's. Especially when they worked so hard for their workshops.

Actually one of the first decent response I've seen in this thread, thank you for that.Oh boy, this is such a wild theory.

To any Shadowbringers or Endwalker newbies, I would like to take you on a small trip through time.

I know it's exciting to try and catch the bad guys, but this is not new nor is it against the rules. Multiowners are not hiding. They are naming their fc tags in obvious identifiable ways simply because they can. They have posted about it on the forum for years without being banned. GMs know about people owning whole wards and they will not interfere.
Well that closes this topic, it's fully allowed and is not against ToS, as proven by that GM conversation. To any Shadowbringers or Endwalker newbies, I would like to take you on a small trip through time.

Dont think anything else needs to be said.
