you can't really even compare them to pvp even though the minority plays them,
its not like a copy paste of how ranked is with casual lol

I think there comparable for the example of what Ranked is, its basically the hardcore equivalent content for pvp that rewards unique rewards for people who are willing to put in the effort. Saying that it's different in that comparison because it plays identically to casual is silly because every PvP game's casual and ranked mode always play identically because that's just how the game works. It would be very dumb of them to have an exclusive game mode locked behind rank with no real way to practice it outside of that mode.

They seem pretty comparable to me, both only a fraction of the players do, both have unique rewards, both have people who cheat,both have people to trap your progress,both have players who hate the content but want the rewards and complain about it.

People on this forum and in this thread are advocating for the outright deletion of content instead of ways of trying to improve it, they are jumping to the most drastic solution possible.

so a small number of people make an outlandish request and that validates players to conduct themselves in a less than reputable manner all the while validating a company to ignore an entire forum/player base on the assumption that the people making these requests are actually from na/eu, am i understanding that correctly?

okay but like i said outside of the community aspect of things they are fundamentally different functionally, two or three expacs from now i can probably solos all of endwalker savage and get what i want, you cant do that with pvp.... you never could.
beyond the community, to compare pvp is just... not possible and pve is less of a problem vs pvp lol

Ultimate raids have the same level of commitment of time to high end content for people in their respective fields with a large dependency on other players with the reward of an existing weapon having a unique glow. Surprised no one complains about those rewards being locked behind Ultimates at all.

im pretty sure nobody including raiders actually care about ultimate raids, somebody im close to actually did all of them and told me they hated every single one lol
also those weapons are butt ugly and/or reskins of equally butt ugly weapons lol

last time i saw somebody with a Ultimate bahamut weapon i kinda laughed and said; 'Man i can't believe you did all that for a ugly potassium weapon.'
aparently i bruised their ego and they tried to get me kicked out of my previous FC lol
