I rather rank just not exist at all. But if it's going to have any rewards, they absolutely should never go back to the silly Top 100 method. Especially in a game mode abused by bots, cheaters, and win traders. Let's stop enticing bad behavior with unique rewards.

You're right I don't care for rewards locked behind ranked as I strongly and will die on this hill that rank shouldn't exist at all. Crystal Conflict is unfair, it's filled with cheaters, and any sort of incentive they try to entice me to play it with a carrot on a stick rewards makes me puke. Until they actually make the mode fun and enjoyable and TOP actually achievable without playing RNG tug-of-war, my stance will not change. I'd be happier if they scrapped the whole thing down and reworked PvP to just be more fun. But instead of that, they overvalue the rank side things and every single other PvP mode ever made has to suffer for it.

you may be mocking the post but honestly i agree with what you said for the most part even if it may be satire.

rmt for raid clears and cheating on them ect is disgusting, don't do it.
also getting rid of raids is.... don't do that, you can't really even compare them to pvp even though the minority plays them,
its not like a copy paste of how ranked is with casual lol

I think there comparable for the example of what Ranked is, its basically the hardcore equivalent content for pvp that rewards unique rewards for people who are willing to put in the effort. Saying that it's different in that comparison because it plays identically to casual is silly because every PvP game's casual and ranked mode always play identically because that's just how the game works. It would be very dumb of them to have an exclusive game mode locked behind rank with no real way to practice it outside of that mode.

If you go to a doctor to complain about your itchy foot and the doctor suggests you amputate the entire leg, you probably don't pay any further heed to that doctor and go to another, right?

People on this forum and in this thread are advocating for the outright deletion of content instead of ways of trying to improve it, they are jumping to the most drastic solution possible.
No wonder people like Sinstrel says Square is in the right to ignore this forum.

okay but like i said outside of the community aspect of things they are fundamentally different functionally, two or three expacs from now i can probably solos all of endwalker savage and get what i want, you cant do that with pvp.... you never could.
beyond the community, to compare pvp is just... not possible and pve is less of a problem vs pvp lol

Ultimate raids have the same level of commitment of time to high end content for people in their respective fields with a large dependency on other players with the reward of an existing weapon having a unique glow. Surprised no one complains about those rewards being locked behind Ultimates at all.
