    In theory though, shouldn't the battles be balanced around NOT having the full party bonus?

    If the battles are balanced around it, then it's not a bonus, it's just...average. A bonus in this case would imply that you gain something from having a full party.

    Is the "bonus" for having a full party the +10% edge the mob was supposed to have over you? It just seems kinda pointless/redundant if the encounters were designed with the bonus in mind.

    SE has a habit of doing redundant things, and being nonsensical in they way they "balance" their MMO content. Either every battle in this game is geared around having the full party bonus, or SE REALLY went overboard on their accuracy nerf.

    (I'm frankly shocked my character can walk 5 feet without slamming his face into the nearest wall as bad as his accuracy is.)

    This. It's a pointless bonus and I really don't understand why it's in the game. I guess the question is, and it's been asked, do they balance dungeon/primal content around the bonus or not?
