Positivity? Are you kidding me? After they just put the most popular mount on the Mog station after everyone paid $80, if not more just to play Endwalker?

Customers will be positive when they stop putting invisible hidden fees in their services. They do not tell you that mounts are locked behind ANOTHER shop until you actually bought the game. They deserve all the negativity on Better Business Bureau.

Im positive now and I havent bought it yet. Matter of fact, Im positive I want to buy it. It isnt "hidden", its optional. Do better next time

They deserve all the negativity on Better Business Bureau.
When the staff stop laughing at your asinine complaint, if indeed you ever did lodge one, they will get back to you, I suppose, at the Greek Kalends.

    Silly rabbit.

Every MMO has their positives and negatives. I do like XIV for what it is but I've liked other MMOs more.

I will say this one is leagues more social and I do like that. 2nd place goes to old school Barrens Chat.

Positivity is good. However objectively unbiased is better. Both sides have good points but I've noticed both sides have a hard time to take the other sides opinions into consideration.

Frankly...I think it's wishful thinking that will every happen.

Don't look back, that's not the way you're going.

I don't see how people think Endwalker is bad, let alone the story or gameplay. I don't understand how the class mechanics are "2 min meta" / "bland, boring, and the same". As someone who came from WoW for 16 years, this game is superior in pretty much every way.

I am trying to max all my jobs to 90, i'm so close! But doing all the roulettes every day, from beast tribe dailies, to the stadium crafting questlines, the fate farming, housing / decor, from the raiding content there is just so much to do. I can game for like 10 hours a day and barely have enough time to do everything i want in the first half of every week. Let alone even play other games to mitigate burn out. I still have achievements to hunt, mounts / collectibles to collect, relics i haven't even started. Sometimes I just feel like i'm drowning in content and it is glorious!

So anyways the only way I can think people aren't having fun or think there is nothing to do is because they have limited themselves in what they do inside the game. Maybe they are exclusively raiders and ignore the 80% of the other stuff in the game. But as someone who wants to do everything even the pvp I honestly think it will be impossible to collect al the collectibles, the achievements, and achieve everything the game has to offer.
    Grinding doesn't matter.
Gear doesn't matter (outside Savage which still 5% or less)
Gil/Economy doesn't matter (unless housing which is a lottery ticket right now) because RMT running rampant.
    Empty world/Invisible walls everywhere.
Roulettes and dailies consist of doing the same old ARR content for 23409829804 time.
Raids are designed so everyone can watch netflix/yt on a second monitor so the players dont fall sleep.
Every job including healers got nerfed/simplified to the point all of them plays the same.
Only crazy or unemployed people can tolerate or digest the crafting/gathering system that looks straight from a N64 game era (right click on shiny objects lol devs to lazy to actually put a rock/gem that matches the item you are picking up)
11 years with the same "theme park" MMO design and grinding the same 800 tomes per week because SE can't design or test new things.
New updates every 4 months that consist of releasing 15 minutes of MSQ, 1 raid, 1 corridor (dungeon).
Events are still copy and paste from ARR (Basically talk to 3-4 npcs do a fate -> enjoy the reward)

PVP ish ok, but then again, weapon/stats/gears/elements doesn't matter.

There's nothing wrong with being positive, but from what I can gather, there's 3 forms of positivity on the forums right now. Let's show an example:

Tom says: "I love island sanctuary! It's fun to gather all the things to build up my own island and it's very fun to decorate my island to make it unique!"
Bob says: "I love island sanctuary, if anyone doesn't like it, they're probably a raider that only cares about savage and ultimates."
John says: "Endwalker is highly rated across all platforms, if you don't like it, perhaps you should quit and find another game."

Tom is positive, he's showing love to the things he likes, he breeds positivity and people will respond in kind.
Bob is positive, but he's also dismissing a subset of players, people from the subset of players he's dismissing may respond with dissatisfaction.
John is just exuding toxic positivity, he's not actually addressing anything and is wholly dismissing anyone that isn't aligned with his views.

People like Tom, we need more people like Tom, don't be like Bob or John.

John says: "Endwalker is highly rated across all platforms, if you don't like it, perhaps you should quit and find another game."
Fourth type: Jack says "you've made multiple threads detailing why you dislike the game and regularly make posts in other threads along those lines, while making little mention of what you do like. Perhaps you should find a game more to your tastes."

Jack is not John, though both have fair points – on the one hand, lots of people like the game as it is; on the other, an individual is showing constant dislike of what the other people like.

It is not toxic to suggest that the most likely solution is for the one person to find a different game than to keep expecting this game which they do not like at a deep level will suddenly pivot into something they do, and risk alienating the large number of people who enjoy the game as it currently exists.

Also, nobody gives the "go play another game" line over a single disagreement. People don't tell me to go play another game because I'm griping about Island Sanctuary or whatever. It's only when someone is consistently negative about the big picture of the game that you do have to start wondering why the person is still here and whether they're for some reason stuck in a mental rut that every game should appeal to them personally, when actually it's up to the player to find a game they like.

Oooo...that's a good quote on your picture. I'm a sucker for quotes and I like to collect them. My favorite so far is 'Words were another sword for the man that wielded them well". close behind that would be "Delusional people tend to believe in what they are doing".

When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.

Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.

Nah, Jack is usually Bob. A toxic casual constantly, constantly defending the stupidification and lobotomization of job and encounter design, sneering that this game's spiral downward into what it is now is akshully a good thing, and if you don't like it then git out.
