Agree on most points, what annoys the hell out of me is the constant negativity and some of the useless, worthless smears we see day on day out. What was it.."paypigs" "white knights" etc, the constant trolling and vitriol we see frequently. Stormpeaks continuing abusive, abrasive attitude comes to mind. NO ONE including me has ever said to anyone ":if you dont like it, quit", yet we see this rubbish repeated over and over again as if it has been said frequently.

Deliberately misrepresenting, twisting or outright FABRICATING quotes by other players when they have never said it is plain trolling...quite frankly, some of them need to log off for a few days and get a better sense of perspective.

I listen to a great many people, I read and try to understand peoples viewpoints. Some I agree with, some not, but in all truth the way some conduct themselves here helps NO ONE. it annoys me when said people dont even have the integrity to actually refer to what I actually said, not what they want to twist it to mean.

And yes Stormpeaks, FF 14 is GLOBAL in nature, you get people logging in from all corners of the globe at all hours of the day, so YES , you DO get people from NZ, you DO get people from AU, you get people from Greece, the Mediterranean, China, all of EU, all of OCE, ( which is a REGION if you recall ), NA, people have alts /characters on multiple worlds. .

"Toxic positivity" is a meme, a slur, a smear meant to shout down or shut down people who dare disagree with their nihilistic take. I am sorry they dont enjoy the game, doesnt means others cant. No game anywhere, ever is perfect. I enjoy it, have done since the start. To me FF 14 is far better than a lot of MMOs and other singleplayer games I have seen.

How many times have I said this? Often. Yet here we have members of this forum deliberately miquoting me to say otherwise..which I never did.

I see no issues in being positive, I see no problems with it.

A positive mindset is essential in each day, a negative attitude or approach is conducive to seeing the worst in others AND in yourself , then projecting that to encompass everyone, which Id call a distorted, self defeating process.

If you are going to quote someone, do it accurately. If you have criticism to make, go for it, more power to you. Others may disagree, thats as it should be. The phrase "toxic positivity" has come to mean "Its all bad the game sucks and Ill attack you if you dare say otherwise".

Personally, I am here for the duration, will be here for 6.41 and beyond.

BTW Theodric, re Bozja and Eureka, I never want to see them removed, but can ALSO see why they werent repeated this time around.

Is that 5am EU time or NA time? Cause 5am in NA would be like 8pm in EU which is the start/middle of prime time for EU. But yeah that with the bots is true, same with people which afk in the game for 24/7.

In this context we're talking 5 AM EU time yeah, but I absolutely refuse to believe that there are that many australians and people from new zealand/asia playing with a thousand ping on EU, the fact they keep going with that argument is just laughable, but with the amount of bots traffic there is in this game and the constant teleporting through maps and logging in/out (you can literally see them teleport through everywhere in Limsa), I wouldnt be surprised if those bots were why there is even a queue in the first place at such a time in the morning

There are players from NA, AU, NZ and god knows where else logging in. or do you think that EU players ONLY play on those servers? FF 14 has a GLOBAL audience. BTW your mention of China was kinda funny, seeing as 5am EU time is 1:56pm their time.

OH GOOD LORD I almost forgot, it is entirely possible that EU players are on at 5am, see, they can log in and play in the early hours when they are on vacation anytime they feel like. They get 4 weeks mandated annual leave per year, paid. Did you also know that if they dont take that leave, their employers will LITERALLY take their computers and laptops away and SEND them on leave?

They do.

We Aussies also get the same, 4 weeks paid annual leave ( mandated, which means its the LAW ) so we can stay up and play all night if we feel like it. So, no Im not surprised at all if people are on at 5am EU time. They get ample leisure time to enjoy themselves.
