BLU content has always been released at the end of the expansion. So not sure why you'd expect earlier announcements.BLU has essentially been on life support since last expansion. They didn't even mention it until the very LL that announced its level update. I'd have been very surprised had this gone to BLU as a reward when they haven't put in a mount for it since Malboro. Which is a damn shame because it more or less makes Blue Mage DoA for most players instead of a potential revival.
Then...dont buy it?Imagine actually defending this.
lmao
you wanted to play the game and work for that?? looool
nah just whip out credit card!!
it operates like a f2p game at this point. if you defend this you're a clown.
but how will they fund ff16 commercials and forespoken's shitty sequel if they're not milking xiv's player base every month??? without our help, square enix will starve! please look forward to it!Imagine actually defending this.
The store grows more and more bold with higher quality exclusive items every time and the quality of in-game items in comparison seems to be going down.
It used to be just old event items and a few custom outfits.
There's no defense for this growing practice and I'm surprised I see people in this thread doing just that as if it's okay.

It seems some people forgot this is $15 per month game on top of the full game price and expansions not some fucking free-to-play.
got to make up for losses when Final Fantasy XVI and VII Rebirth don't meet sales expectations. because we all know that Square Enix puts impossibly high demands on sales figures.
After playing the demo I dont think SE are going to have a problem with 16's sales figures.

There is nothing illegal or even immoral with making a product and selling it for a price. Clearly there’s a market for it as they keep making more and more of them.
If you or others don’t want it, don’t buy it. If enough ppl don’t buy it, SE stops putting in orders for more mounts.
It’s not like this mount would ever end up for free anyway, as the dev costs to make it a mount in the first place comes from funds generated from sales on the mogshop.
I dont see how an OPTIONAL mount has any bearing on a games quality. FF 14 is quality gaming in every sense. It's about the standard they set for future endeavors like this. Just like how cd projekt red set the standard for triple a games releasing in broken unplayable states with cyberpunk 2077.
