I never said he was a troll, I made a joke about someone else's response.
Full party bonus removed!
Game difficulty increased by 0.0001%
Looks like people are sad that Rokiens last thread got locked and they can't troll him in it anymore so they jump on this poor fellow instead.
To be serious on the subject, I don't think it's a huge enough difference either way to make a big deal it's a slight incentive to get people in parties put in the game when people avoided parties like the plague. It doesn't serve much purpose to me other than allerting me that I'm in a full party of 8 before my eyes can scroll down to the party list.
I like the bonus but I don't. I think they could turn the bonus into something else, idk, but I want ACC to play a bigger roll.
Maybe make food last longer? idk.....
I also still want to say "FULL PARTY" whenever I get into a full party, if they keep that I'll be happy.

If you want ACC to play a bigger role, solo on MNK for a while and let me know how 40% ACC feels for you.
SE has already said, numerous times that parties are working the way they intend them to and that food isn't meant to be a big bonus.
I don't understand how people can possibly complain about this bonus. For the last year and a half all I've seen is people begging, pleading, threatening, and offering sacrifices to convince the SE gods to add a bonus to parties to give people incentive to group up. They gave us incentive, and now you bitch because there's too much incentive to group?
(You people are the reason Yoshida is constantly getting sick and worn out.)
When did I complain about it?If you want ACC to play a bigger role, solo on MNK for a while and let me know how 40% ACC feels for you.

That being said, when I used 'people' I mean it literally to refer to everyone in the thread who was arguing about the bonus and in a broader sense, all the people who feel the need to argue and complain about every single nice thing the dev team decides to add to the game. It's amazing to me that people still think time consuming, repetitive, tedious work is 'challenging'. I don't understand why being rewarded is considered a bad thing by certain people on this forum...
You can't imagine that people have fun in a way that is different than the way you have fun?
You could make a whole topic on that subject and find that not everyone thinks what you find fun is fun, and you may think some people are insane with what they think is fun. I for one am glad that people are voicing their opinion on any and all subjects of the games development.
We have to believe the Dev team don't take our word as god (If they did the game is doomed) and use our feedback to design around the game they have envisioned. I'm sorry if you think that X-Y-Z feature is awesome because it makes things easier/quicker/convient to you.
I on the other hand may feel it makes the game less engaging / have less lasting appeal / cheapen my sense of achievment. It's the wonderous things about having a board where we discuss things about the games direction. It's when people start pretending that they are right and everyone else is wrong is when it becomes a issue.
Everyone is here to voice their opinion on the game, although it seems many people are of the opinion that people shouldn't have a opinion and if they do they shouldn't take about it.
Long story short.
"It's amazing to me that people still think ____"
Well it's amazing to me that you didn't think that people don't all agree with you.
No insult directed at you but please don't assume that because you find something tedious that everyone else does. Everyone here is grown up enough to speak for themselves, don't try and paint groups of people in broad strokes you. If you still don't understand you never will but I'll say it again for clarity.
What you think is fun, isn't fun for everyone. What you think isn't fun may be fun to others.
*edit*
Maybe it's just too late for me and I'm being ranty...let me know if that's not what you meant and I'll edit this accordingly.

The problem with ideas like "remove option X" from the game is that it really does affect EVERYONE when SE completely removes something in the game. If you happen to enjoy incredibly long, difficult grind with little to no reward at the end of the day you can certainly play that way if you so choose. Removing options for everyone is asking SE to specifically tailor the game to your wants and desires. Asking them to leave a perfectly reasonable (and frankly highly desired/whined about/begged for) game mechanic in the game where they implemented it exactly as they planned to implement it doesn't prevent you from stripping your gear, equipping a level 1 weapon, and going the 1 year to level 50, no leves behest or parties, maso-leveling regimen if that's the kind of experience you really want. You can't imagine that people have fun in a way that is different than the way you have fun?

If I ever, EVER hear one reasonable request to remove an in-game system for reasons other than that people don't like it, or want to artificially create a sense of "achievement" just for hitting the level cap I think I'd die of shock.
All that being said, SE knows that people like that aren't the group of people they want to attract if they have any hope of this game recovering or attracting new players.
In other words, yeah I can't imagine anyone could have fun that way because I've never known anyone who played video games to be ground down by mindless repetitive tasks with little to no reward. And frankly I think SE already has that market of the playerbase pretty much cornered at this point in the game's life.
