That doesn't really exist in Endwalker. It's all extremely quick, and solo oriented systems. We're an economy of cooperative engagement, and when there's no reason for players to interact with each other, and all experiences are quick and solo - Then we fail as that economy.

    The experiment of only providing solo experiences through Endwalker is a lack of foresight on their part. It feels bad.

    I'll pose a different question since we've both been saying literally the same thing to each other in different ways these past few posts.

    How do you propose they fix this 'problem' you feel they have? Like what content is poorly designed (or lacks longevity) that you would change? Or what was removed that you feel should be brought back? Another 3-4 zones like Eureka/Bozja? You said before that you'd like a timed dungeon system. Throw some ideas out there. Someone mentioned that SB patch cycle was better but didn't really elaborate on that. What about non-combat types of content you feel do not have longevity? Since you have to appeal to those folks as well. Maybe more jumping puzzles? More dungeon tour options? Maybe allowing minions in dungeons?

    Personally I would love to do more with the Grand Companies. They have been stagnant for a couple expansions. My squadron is just sitting there in their fat chocobo suits doing nothing.

    It's been discussed to death, and my history has a laundry list. I'll give you 1, and that's create an ilvl sync version of Wondrous Tails. That isn't even content, that's a freebie disguised as content.


    I'll let other people chime in on what they believe is better than Variant, Island Sanctuary, and repeating POTD.

    Sounds good. Maybe they can expand the space you get in the squad room the higher your rank goes and allow furniture placement or something.

    The more its said, the more likely it'll happen if there's enough traction (the bunny bois and the people wanting males to have the option to wear the bunny outfit can attest to that).

    As for me, I'll probably pick something unpopular and ask for a skill glamour system, or essentially the option to revert how certain skills look (someone posed this idea about MCH skill animations in a different thread).

    Keep it up guys. The more solutions/ideas that get thrown out there the better. Just look at them utilizing design contest winners for general dungeon sets etc. Its possible they'll do the same thing for general ideas if they're mentioned enough. Or at the very least, they should hold a content idea contest.

    Same, I wish it werent abandonned.

    Granted this isnt going to last long anyway just like with every other content but I just want them to update and expand on it.

    Ill keep saying this point till people finally get it, what content throughout the entirety of FFXIV did so well in retention? People finish shit quickly in this game all the time. Forced retention isnt in this game's blood, everything is designed to have a clear obtainable end

    When did I ever say any content did well? lol

    We're below the trash can. At least when we had shit content it lasted slightly longer than a day, and when I played in the trash can it was actively cooperative instead of all of the antisocial shit we got going on now.

    Everything they do, they miss so hard and it always seems like it would have been obvious to them. But it never is.

    You assume that everybody else does everything in a single day. I for one am still working on finishing up Eureka Orthos (since Im concentrating on upgrading my gear via tomestone farm and crafting; things I dont do in a day, since my time is precious). There's stuff people finish in a day and some that take a bit more for them.

    So just because YOU happen to have done everything suddenly we also all share that? I suppose you can stay with that but even in games that have more content like in WoW, there's people that finish what they wanted to in a day and dont touch it again.
