    Try installing this service from Cloudflare. It's free and people say it gets around the packet loss making the game playable again.

    I’ve seen a few people in the thread saying free vpns are risky to mess wit’s, one having gotten them perma-banned from another MMO and saying they collect and sell your data. Im not too sure personally.

    I have also seen someone recommending PIA. I looked into that one myself and for a year of use it’s only $35 or so. I was considering getting it myself before ATT and Sony dashed my hopes of being able to use a VPN on console.

    As a disclaimer, I don’t really use VPNs so Im not that knowledgeable, I’m just restating stuff Ive seen said in this thread 10-20 pages ago.

    As far as PIA VPN goes, they have a 30-day money-back guarantee that acts as a "free trial with a deposit" in a way.

    So if you can afford the one-month subscription and the AT&T/NTT issues get resolved before the 30 days are up, they will refund you.

    It's been a great workaround for me in the past with other issues/games, so I can vouch for them.

    Okay, that's actual progress. Not quite a full-on Lodestone post, but we're proggin' here.

    Well it wont hurt to give it a try I suppose. Wont know till later tonight for sure anyway

    For the record we got AT&T Fiber and its been bad pretty much just like everyone else during prime time hours.

    Chalk another one up for /PUNT Uverse.

    Both me and my brother are having horrible lag; I've submitted a report. And..he's on PS5 so a vpn won't help him.

    And I also vouch for can't really change isps. The choice here is Uverse or Comcast (aka. Comcrap) and neither are good choices really, and I'd have to argue with my OTHER brother who doesn't play to swap. Urgh. Let's hope this gets fixed soon. I'ver just been mostly doing stuff on my island right now. Oh and if it helps, we're in the West Georgia area.

    Cloudfare is a well known and established IT company that is the backbone for many many websites. Ever go on a website and have a temporary page saying stuff along the lines of "ensuring you aren't a bad person DDOSing the website"? That's Cloudfare. Also, WARP does not mask your original IP address (or so others have said).

    Well I installed their Warp app so we shall see how it goes. We are gonna test tonight, me using WARP and my wife without while we do our Roulettes, see if my lag is gone and hers persists.

    About tonight, you won't have much time to test it.

    Servers go down for 6.4 maintenance starting at 10PM Eastern/7PM Pacific, and lasting around 8 hours. Servers will be back up early Tuesday morning.
