EDIT / UPDATE--------------------------
- What we know is this is mostly AT&T Internet customers that are affected.
- After 3 days Square-Enix has finally stated they are aware of the problem and working to get it fixed. (Source: These forums & Twitter)
- This is a problem at the server hosting company with a link between them (NTT.net) and the AT&T link, so they claim. This means SE can't fix it themselves.
- The use of a VPN can get around the problem but it depends on your VPN provider.
- I posted about my VPN provider PIA (Private Internet Access) with working nodes. (View Post)
- There is a post on Reddit that claims Cloudflare's WARP Client can also help get around this. (Reddit Source)

Update: May 20, 2023.
We're on day 6 of this problem now. From a customers point of view, this seems to be the new normal for AT&T Internet users if they wish to play FF14 on the NA servers. Unless you play the game between 2am and 10am EST, you will get on average 15-20% packet loss along with DOUBLE the lag you should be getting.
--------------------------
It's happening again. NTT having bad packet loss and lag all within their network. Please get this fixed once and for all.
Current packet loss.
Past 12 hours graphs. Can see when it start about 10:30am EST
Past 2.5 months.
(NTT made a change in early April that caused the average pings to increase by 5-10ms)
