Someone told me that when JP had a similar issue Yoshi P gave out a formal apology within two days. It's a little hard not to be a bit upset.
This is nothing new nor unique to SE itself. SE listens to its JP playerbase because it's Japanese game the same way NCSOFT, Nexon or Krafton listen only to their KR playerbase. We Western players are always left as last option for any feedback or help because "we don't know better". When people complained for weeks that there is some sort of lag in game, total silence; however once it started affecting JP players the same way, SE answered immediately.
