If I still enjoy the game, I will continue to play it, pay for it, and hang out with my friends in it.
If I dont like it, Ill share my Grievances and hope for changes. And if things don't get better, Ill move on...either via a break, or indefinitely depending how I feel about the situation at the time.

I love this game.
But Im not shackled to it.
Either Im having a good time, and Im playing it
Or Im not, and Ill leave.

While I'm not accusing you in particular of this, I often find that those who espouse such views as "Well of course I have hangups with and things I don't like about <insert game here>" rarely have anything critical to say or offer potential improvements to show for it or prove the veracity of their words. Something to keep in mind.

I sometimes think Yoshi-P didn't think his words of "taking a break" through when he said them, and those listening took it as gospel or one of the commandments rather than a recommendation. What of those who'd rather not take a break? It's far from a miraculous silver bullet to solve all issues. I feel like some here are less sympathetic to those who find themselves in that position than they ought to be, and what words they do offer tend to be platitudes.
