The point is that whenever I want to play them, I can simply do so without hassle. Not taking ages to do a relic here, means I can play whatever game I want on my free time, rather than only this one.

Speaking perfectly honestly I would rather this game cater to those of us who actually want to play it. Even if that means it's not as big without all the things done to bend to the whims of the crowd that wants to somehow remove more effort from this and other forms of content. They seriously picked the wrong people to try and cater to, I wanted a video game not a visual novel.

Extremely sad that this is the only game in the world probably where people unironically use the excuse that "it gives them the time to play other games because they don't have to play this one" as a reason for why the game is good. Literally = The game is good because I don't have to play it. WTF, then don't, and let us get a game some of us do want to play.

It's like they get off on taking away things others like to do and laughing in their face when they've destroyed it. Which sadly, is a very common human behavior.

This is what we call bad money management and is not the great counter point you think it is XD. You really shouldn't be paying for subscriptions you don't use. People do this all the time with things like Netflix, Amazon prime, game subs, etc. etc. It's your life to live and your money to spend, but it's not smart and shouldn't be used as an argument.
