I question that everything it comes up. Like, who thought that restricting the unique hairs to faces was a smart idea?

I don't think it was ever something that anyone "came up with", but something they thought was a necessary sacrifice to allow for other parts of their concept vision to be realised.

They wanted customisable fur pattern. To get customisable patterns they took over what would normally be the hairstyle menu, and had to attach hairstyles to faces instead. One step flowing to another and resulting in the weird aspects of the design.

I can't wait until they update character creation. I wouldn't be so bothered if there was a free version of fantasia available for Hrothgar players to get around the limited hairstyles issue (without having to resort to mods).
