Why is it ok to hold people hostage?

I understand your frustration but ... what part of the story tells you "it is ok to hold people hostage"?

The tank told me after, I will quote him exactly:

Healer got kicked
Tank: "Ok..."
Me: "He had level 90 characters"
Tank: "And? having level 90 characters doesnt automatically make you good especially on this one ^^"

It's obvious that people enable this behaviour. That's why I asked, why it's ok.
